Literally absolutely nothing can beat Freddy in a chicken suit smoking a vape and blasting it full speed on a quad bike.
His face with the vape in his mouth while he’s ripping on the quad cracked me up so much haha
that was pure comic genius, it was so funny and yet clearly scary. I nearly gave this series a miss but its been absolutely brilliant.
haha 100%, I was pissing myself watching that scene, great writing/directing/acting. Loved it, I was sold after that.
The problem with binge watching this series, is that its over far too quickly and then you start getting withdrawal symptoms. I thought I'd be able to watch one per night, but then, when the next episode started I just couldn't turn it off! So please Guy, bring on series two ASAP! Also, a big round of applause for Chris Benstead's score. The beautiful soprano perfectly underscoring not only the country house scenes but also the scenes of violence and criminality.
As is with all Guy Ritchie’s work, unfortunately. It’s actually so good, it’s almost visceral

YES! I was supposed to wait for my wife and started an episode. Then 2, 3, 4 and the next day, finished it all. Great series!

I love Theo James in about anything I’ve seen him in, but have to say that the entire cast were sublime. It was refreshing to see Vinnie Jones in a non-villainous role.

I pretty much binge watched the whole series and it was absolutely brilliant. Fabulous casting and as we know Guy is the man when it comes to this genre, often imitated never duplicated

Susie Glass Top notch character. The absolute opposite of a gangster but very gangster in the same time...Very complex. The Guy Ritchie directing is unique, watching his movies is like reading books, so much detail and conversation, still allows you to visualise stuff in your own way somehow.

She rides her Dads surname and showed that she thought she was better than what she actually is! She needs a proper humbling!

Guy Ritchie's finest 🔥
This show was waaaayyy better than I thought it would be, even knowing Guy Richie created and directed it. He held back his often chaotic editing to only use it when it made sense. It's really excellent in every way.

@@target-tk6vb yeah agreed. Giy Ritchie style suits more films as I got bored and fed up of the same regurgitated scenes. His format definitely works better for films.

I didn't even consider this show as I thought so little of the movie it sprung from. Plus I thought it was yet another cash grab from an existing IP, something streaming services are really guilty of.

@@Chriswallace0405 It's not done. It's been a massive hit for Netflix and Guy has said on record that he has ideas for season 2. The only thing that's likely to stop it happening are scheduling clashes.

Def need more seasons & more Kaya Scodelario as Susie Glass, she was styled af! If they can lose the one note losers Freddy, Jimmy & Susie's brother they could build something even more epic to run for years.

Didn't think Guy could possibly outdo himself, but boy was I wrong. "The Gentlemen" is a banger of a show, not quite as vicious as his last show "Don' You Go Rounin' Roun to Re Ro" but comes pretty darn close.
Utterly brilliant. Loved every minute and what a superb cast. ❤

I absolutely loved it! Everything Guy does turns to creative gold and is by far the most entertaining director out there who's just making fun and funny films/TV. Long may it continue. The cast was perfect and brilliant as well. So good!

Already completed watching this a week ago and I had not realized until now that Kaya Scodelario was on it.
The gentlemen movie came off as a Tarantino clone. But this was through and through Guy Ritchie. He had the space to develop his world and not overdo it with the violence.

Guy Ritchie is amazing. His style in his films and now shows is unreal. For me, The Gentleman movie is what hooked me. then The Covenant, then The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, then this show. His selection for actors and the scripts and his style of humour and dialogue is so good

Susan Glass is a brilliant character. It s really good! Made me watch « Snatch » for a 1000th time. Only thing I m gonna say, music was better chosen in Snatch. Otherwise it s really good.
