Do you have to use the Valspar cabinet enamel for the repose grey layer?
The other product I like to recommend is Sherwin William ProClassic water based enamel. You could use a regular semi-gloss paint as well, but I like the hardness of paint designed for furniture and cabinets so it's durable.
