Wonderful! God I can't believe how young he looks, a real pioneer and still fresh at it, always with an interesting perspective.

I think he'll look the same as he did in the late 70s if he still had long hair.

Wow, one of the greats I have in mind every time I touch my synths, even if just to remind me I'll never get anywhere near them in terms of skill!

Thanks for all those lovely activities, Dina!!!
They are very important steps in expanding the history of electronic music. And the beautiful and fundamental contributions of JMJ to contemporary sound art for decades have the ARPs as fundamental protagonists of his work!

Thank you very much. I agree with JMJ regarding synth speakers. There is no reason why we shouldn't have them. Speakers do color the sound in one way or another. And it can be a design choice from the makers. Why should all synths use studio grade flat speaker all the time. Your audience don't have them any way.

Fantastic interview. Thanks for organizing that! Great see see the maestro so enthusiastically talking about synths and especially the ARP2600, his heart is really in it 👍

Onother brilliant Interview - needs 1 million + clicks. A deep look behind J.M. Js sophisticated thinking and reflections that are always breaking the boundaries of just music technology and music itself - with all his experience he sees the big picture and cultural/sociological implications of what he is doing - so there is also a political context. Thats how it should be for being a big artist and that is in need today even more than it always was. Thank you for the inspiration and lets be conscious musicians with those wonderful Instruments like the honourable Mr. Pearlman constructed them.

Isn't ARP responsible for every sound R2 D2 made?

Yes! Here are a couple of videos about it: flypaper.soundfly.com/produce/5-iconic-star-wars-sounds-demystified/ and th-cam.com/video/eUwnFYBPMlU/w-d-xo.html
