A great deal of the money allocated to “education” in the USA never makes it to the teachers, students, and schools for basic supplies. That is not a subject for this channel. We’re here to relax, not debate stuff. You can do that elsewhere. Anyone doing it here will be banned, and your comment will be deleted. I hate to be so harsh, but this is a real problem every year, and I mean to put a stop to it. 5. No matter what country you live in, you have to pay for dumb things, too. 6. No, parents are not punished if they either can’t or won't bring in these supplies. No consequences await those who don’t contribute. However, the teachers often have to pay for supplies out of their own pocket when no one provides them. Hopefully, by donating these things, we can help prevent at least a little bit of that. 7. No, nobody cares to hear how awesome your country is right now. This is not a contest. No matter where you live in the world, everyone is struggling. Maybe you can take that all-caps energy and help someone in your area. A little kindness would go a long way. 8. The Ziploc bags are used for a variety of things in the classroom. It may seem like a strange request, but they come in handy to store little bits of stuff, fragile projects, and dirty clothes, among other things. 9. I will continue to do these back-to-school shopping trips to help out my community every year, as long as I am financially able to do so. In a perfect world, it wouldn’t be necessary to buy any of these things, but we don’t live in a perfect world. I want to help as many people as I can, for as long as I can. Now that that’s out of the way, let’s relax and enjoy some shopping. 😊

Juggling three lists alone while holding a phone, in a store, carrying on a running one-way commentary, pulling a shopping cart one-handed, navigating aisles and displays, while looking for three separate lists of items can be... Challenging. I know. I, too, am shocked.

I never comment but I just wanted to say this video was so healing to my inner child 🥲 back to school was always kinda stressful for me worrying about how much everything would cost my parents, and having to sometimes opt for the cheapest choices or skip out on the frivolous stuff. Seeing you not only giving back to the schools, but also just buying whatever was the best quality is so healing in a weird way haha. Love the videos!

My momma is a sped teacher, so we went back to school shopping together every year, all the way through my time in college. It was so much fun! Whatever was a good sale item, momma would buy multiple of for the school. She would also help all the first time shoppers with their kindergarteners figure out what to get and what worked best for their kid. We had a lot of fun together, so thank you for reminding me of good times with this video.

I can not tell you how amazing you are for doing things like this. I’m a preschool teacher and I can tell ya we spend a lot of our own money on supplies for the kids so having people like you donate money or supplies means the absolute world to both us teachers and of course the kids
Just here to say that it’s so sweet you’re contributing. As a social worker, I work with so many kids who benefit from help from strangers like you. And I can tell you, the gratitude their parents feel is immense. I hope these video inspire more to do the same in their towns.

When I was in early grades, we still used the Big Chief tablets. In later elementary, I started using binders with loose-leaf paper. Then spiral notebooks at some point. Good old school supplies.
Yeah, when I was in high school, we didn't really have supply lists. Like we just got the basics (folders, notebooks, writing utensils) before the school year started and then waited until we got the syllabi from our classes on the first day to get what we need.

We didn’t have lists for back to school supplies so o bought everything cool! Lisa frank, pearlites( pearly opalescent covered notebooks and folders) yikes pencils. Esprit tote bags as book bags.. Elmo Tshirts we’re big too I wish o could shop for supplies! Actually I can my niece is turning 5 and starting school I can give them to here as a present!

I’m a teacher and I use ziplocks to make art bags, group projects, and you can slip a piece of paper inside, zip it, and kids can use a Expo marker on surface and it wipes off like a whiteboard.
