Thanks , very interesting , the way the worlds currently going this is a good idea. Most commercial feed here in South Africa is GMO and too much added salt. Rabbits drink all day . I grow tree lucern and have a large orchard of mature trees. They love it. Going to try the sprouted barley , we also grow leaucena which they get twice a week. They love it too but it can be toxic if overfed. Keep up the good work.
Do the young growout need a pellet with a coccidiostat in it or is there another way, or do they even need tho prevention. I'm talking when the growout are on the grass in a rabbit tractor. 😊
Hi i have dwarf buns and 1 keeps having lose cecotropes and bouts of diarrhea and we give antibiotics, then probiotics and after 3 weeks it starts again. He eats only pellets, no hay at all. Do you know whether i can give him some pellets which help his gut be healthy? I m desperate with him. He likes fresh greens but for now we eliminated them
Yes, absolutely. I would soak and sprout dried beans, or feed them or their leaves when they are green. They can make up a small portion of their feed for sure.
wonderful! SO glad you are here! Also, check out curly haired country girl, she has a great series that she interviewed a bunch of us on raising rabbits.
She has a really good ebook about raising rabbits in a colony that I have really enjoyed! Living the Hight Life has good info on feeding rabbits for free too.
ONE OF THE FEW VIDEOS I'VE SEEN WHERE THE PERSON KNEW WHAT THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT, GREAT JOB. HAVE A NICE DAY.

What are your thoughts about a small pond? Like digging a space to capture rainwater then raising fish? Good idea?
Thank you. I recently ordered Tree Lucerne seeds.
Do you think that grow outs could not be grown on grass and weeds? Albeit slowly (yet freely)?
Yes, absolutely
Fantail Valley Homestead. I hope I can hear from you. After looking at your list what about beans that I grow? sprouted or non sprouted.

If the micro greens get white mould on them, can you still feed them to the rabbits?
very small amounts of white mould is probably going to be fine, they will usually avoid bits they shouldn't eat.
Thank you very much.
I'm clearing binging your content 🤣😂 I am interested in how people keep rabbits for meat, were considering it.
