I've been a Nike boy for a few years now, but as of last year and lately I've been gravitating a lot toward NB and Asics. They're just so comfortable and wearable.
Alex Mathew Mendoza yea I agree! NBs are just super cozy and you can usually always find them at a good price and don’t have to worry about them selling out. However, as of late I have noticed a little bit of hype growing with all their collabs they’ve been doing and Kendall Jenner rockin the 990s is definitely gonna raise brand awareness. Not looking forward to EVERYONE jumping on the wave but I’m not mad at it

Used to love the 993. Wore them for over 10 years. And after 2019, I watched as NB kept raising the price on them, until they reached $199. I used to get them at Joe's New Balance Factory Outlet prior to 2019 and paid no more than $139-$150 for them. But then NB online started handling the 993 exclusively and raising the price. It was a stretch for me to be able to afford $199 and it hurt to pay that, but I did because I needed a good supportive shoe that looked nice. But now I'm saying goodbye to New Balance and the wonderful 993. Just yesterday NB raised the price again, this time over the $200 mark. Hey, it's a nice shoe, but NB has just simply gotten too greedy for me. Maybe some of you won't mind the new price tag, but $225 is just ridiculous for this gray shoe.

@@sebastianvasquez1999 990v5, it has the ortholite insole. it makes really nice to step in. and i think the mesh upper makes it a lil bit more breathable.

I always do. If you have a wider foot, you can maybe get away with TTS

I always wear Jordan’s or Nike but until I got the Nike e series ad that brought me into comfort shoes and I like new balance now hoping to get these shoes because they look awesome and I can’t wait to get a pair.

I have loved new balance since high school. Got into ASICS/Tigers for a while and have been obsessed with NB for the past few years. I’d say my favorite as far as comfort is the 990v4 or the 998. I was actually pretty disappointed with the comfort of the V5s. I think the contour of them doesn’t work with my feet, but the aesthetics are good. Would you say the comfort of the 993 is similar to the 990v4s? I really want a pair of these. Good video though. NB is hands down the best. Screw all the hype trash tbh lol.
Thank you for watching! I never had 998s but I do like the shape. I would say the 990 v4s and 993s are very similar in comfort but the 993 weighs a little more and makes you a little taller due to the chunkier elevated midsole. Still very comfortable, a more durable comfort compared to the 990v4s.

Love the 993's.....I've had all the 990 series shoes. I love how long they last, how classic , and vintage looking they are. Chicks dig them too! I go to the Lawrence,MA factory which is where they are built. The admin offices of new balance is in Boston ,MA. The factory store has some good deals on the 993, which is my favorite model. size 9.5 D ....tried the 990v5 which is supposed to be better, its' newer, but not better in my opinion. It sits lower due to ortholite insoles? and it runs a little big, my toes are too loose. I might buy the size 9 next time....or just buy another pair of 993's!!! Great review by the way.

990s are my favorite sneakers now.
Yea they’re a classic!
So I got the grey 993s and the 10 ran slightly big so I got a 0.5 size down (a 9.5) and it is slightly tight in my left foot but good in my right foot. Not sure what to do. I love the shoe and it’s comfortable. Not sure if I should stick with 9.5 or go back with my normal size ( a 10).
Maybe try wearing them a little more to break in the 9.5, I went true to size and they have a little room, but not too much.
@@shootyourshotTV is it bad the 10 had a little room width and length wise? I wouldn’t think it’d mess up my feet or anything. The 9.5 my feet are pushing clear up to the sides and it feels like my little toe is getting no room

What is the regular fit for width for new balance? I am confused with all the options. Is there one particular width fit that is regular? Meaning it can fit all feet.
Isaac. H New Balance’s regular fit is D width. It’s the standard. They do make a more narrow fit and wider fit for some models.

how's the sizing or fit compared to 990v5?
PINTOORA's Art Channel these still run true to size like the 990v5. 993s imo have a very comfy relaxed fit with a little elevation. I’ve only tried on 990v5s and I didn’t love them but I could definitely feel the comfort in them.
I have both , The 990V5 runs slightly big. They are not as comfortable in my opinion
On Stock X there’s a Kith Grey and a MIU Grey color way. I’m wondering which pair you have so I know which to purchase. Thank you!

These are surprisingly hard to find nowadays.

I wear them for years...not kidding. I've worn them so long my wife makes me throw them out cuz the mesh and pigskin looks so gross. I mean 5 years of everyday wear. The only shoes I own that have lasted as long is my Timberlands!

I really wish to get some help here, a couple of weeks I have bought a 990v4 on my usual size, 9.5us and they run huge, I mean half or full size bigger, I am about to get a 993's but I'd like to know the fitting, I prefer a snug fit rather than a lose one, so can anybody help me with the sizing? thanks
Was the width D? If the width is 2e or 4e they’re going to feel really big. I’m a 9.5D in all new balance 990s. Hope this helps.

I estimate more than 20 people have tried on theose shoes before you. I admit, some might have feet that smell like roses and have the hygiene of a brain surgeon... but others will have feet that smell like rotting rats and you just deep inhaled all that goodness.
