Just discovered this priest by accident, or perhaps by divine intervention…. I’m a Protestant seeking to become a catholic and I have family members very saddened by this decision and it hurts me to know that. I’ve struggled honestly in my transition to Catholicism and when I started listening to him it brought peace, hope and joy to my soul! I’ve been praying for God to encourage me in the faith and this is exactly what I needed!! Ty for posting !

I as cradle catholic feel so inspired and grateful to converts. You are all so on fire for the faith that was not taught to us properly. Your presence is a light for those of us who are only learning our faith after being left in the closet of the church by our parents and teachers
As a cradle Catholic I fell away from the church as many do. I have felt like I was missing something for the last 20 years. I’m now 43 and I have been praying so hard for the hole in my heart to be filled. When it came to me that I was missing the Eucharist !!!! I now fill complete. Not to mention now that I’m praying the rosary and doing adoration I’m started noticing small miracles in my family and daily life. Good luck and I’ll pray for you🙏🏼

Congratulations & welcome home! You have found the one true church which Jesus built, the one with the fullness of truth. There are so many good resources out there if you want to learn about Catholicism but personally I find Catholic Answers is a really good resource. Dr. Scott Hahn’s Rome Sweet Home is really good. He’s also a convert like you except he’s a Bible scholar and he was a Protestant minister before he converted to the Catholic faith. Listening to Relevant Radio is also a good place to learn and sharpen your Catholic faith. Regarding Father Blount, I recently attended his retreat in Malvern, PA. It was amazing and Father Blount was so kind and patient. At the end, there was a healing service and he literally prayed over each person at the retreat. We got to hug Padre Pio’s robe & touched other relics of other saints.
I think we are watching a future saint. May we all emulate his devotion and fall deeply in love with the Lord in the same way. Thank you Lord God for sending us a perfect example of pure love. 🙏🏻❤️

I have been disappointed by a priest when he wanted us to embrace Chinese New Year and pray for the dead as was the custom. All for inclusiveness.
I’m Catholic and don’t want to celebrate Christmas in July or Chinese New Year or the customs and beliefs that go with the celebrations for inclusiveness.
Jesus did not encourage beliefs to be integrated into His church. His disciples went out into other cultures to proclaim HIS word not the other way around.
Maybe these actions can erode trust in our priests.

Amen. I was attending the mass last month and was talking to God, ask questions etc and ask HIM to answer or give me a sign that HE hears me. During the Communion, the priest handed me 2 host/ Eucharist, never receive 2 in my whole life so, I took it as a sign from GOD!

We had a priest at our parish who advised me to consult a white witch. I did not even know back then what that was. That was 10 years ago. (approximately) I did not seek anything in that regard as my thoughts (and my spirit) repeated to me ‘a witch is a witch’. Please pray for good holy priests like Fr Jim and those priests such as the one I knew who tried to lead me to perdition and the demonic. It’s true that they need lots of prayer. Thank you father! You're the greatest! God bless you! I experienced the illumination of conscience. The priest who heard my confession told me. I bought the book the warning. It happened exactly the way they say it does. It was like a movie in my mind that I couldn't stop or control. I saw my sins as God sees them. I understood that off I died in that moment I would have gone straight to hell. I became truly sorrowful for my sins. Got back to mass & the rosary & chaplet of divine mercy (lol & many other devotions). I sobbed for hours. It changed my life truly.

As the young Bishop of that diocese in Kansas, said to Fr Jim, I have to discern as well. I would not want to go against the prayer taught by Our Lady, the Mother of God to St Dominic when She gave him the instructions of the Holy Rosary prayer. Right now, I am happy to pray the Flame of Love prayer after the Hail Mary prayer. God bless us all!

I'm glad I came back here again. My husband was reaching for his shirt before going to bed. His knee accidentally touched the screen and it turned to this video and right now when Fr. Blount was praying saying about God being at the tabernacle and to touch the young ones esp the teenagers. Before he could say touch the teenagers, I said it out first! Wow! I believe Jesus wanted to me to say that. That is to say it has been a long while the last time I watched this and I couldn't remember every word said in the prayer so that is amazing. Ohhh.. Lord is just too Excellent. He ia a Great God!💯🙏
