Nice to have my daily dose of Ross, I'm running out of videos, but the questions are mounting up. I enjoy the how to ones where you are teaching something as you are doing it.

In your cuttings video you say not to let the fig tasting videos get us too excited on a fig variety, but I'm afraid this did it for me. Gotta get I-258 now. LOL! Was the skin tough, in your opinion?

It's definitely a keeper, and is a variety very well recommended in the fig growing community. You won't go wrong with this one. The skin I believe is somewhere in the middle in terms of toughness.

    Hoi Ross,
In youre spreadsheet u write down I258 is a synonym for Black Madera. Is there not a bigh difference in ripeningtime, production, leave shape etc.?

They are not synonyms, but quite similar figs is all. I258 seems to have a shorter ripening window and to be a bit earlier. It's also more vigorous. More productive.

Don't have BNR and figs are not cloned from seed.
