Whomever is doing the mural prepwork on those fossil murals is a true artist. From the composition choice in how they cut it to the outlining, those are the best fossil specimens I've ever seen.
Hi Dave! Thanks so much for taking me along on your “quests.” I attended that 22nd Street show and loved it! It’s usually my third show visit, right after opening day at AGTA and second day show at GJX. My main love is jewelry design, so getting the beauties at those shows is my “necessity””, but I am (and have been since childhood) in love and awe of the fossils and minerals too. We attend nearly all of the shows in our yearly eleven-day stay in Tucson, but seeing your videos shows me what I may have missed myself or was unable to see due to time constraints. Again, I’m a new subscriber to your channel and really love the relaxing way you visit these wonderful shows…thank you so much again!
The bigger Green River fossil fish are from the 18" layer. It was great fun digging the slabs splitting the layers until you see the shadow of the fishes backbone. Then preparing out and revealing the fish which are slightly harder than the rock with dental pick a fleck at a time. Near Kemmer Wyoming.
Hey there Hi friend thank you so much for watching I did not forget about mailing out your package I have just been in a friends house for a week and I didn’t bring it with me long story short it is not being really convenient because the local post office burned down in the package might’ve gotten destroyed no joke so I will be mailing out the package when I get back on Monday or Tuesday
@@lapidarydave Wow that's crazy lol what are the odds. No worries my friend I've been to busy lately to even notice much and can't work the stone anyway for a couple weeks so it's all good :)
I don't know anything about fossils, gems and crystals. I would like to know how much of what we can see at an event like the Tucson Gem Show are genuine products and how many are "made in China"? Does anyone certify the origin of all those fossils, gems and crystals?
What was that last stone? I missed tbe name. Looks kinda like hard coal, really cool. By the way, see any small (2mm ish) round azurite beads? Still trying to find some, should you happen to spot em... Ps nothing wrong with hawaiian shirts. :) Thanks so much for the videos, really enjoying seeing stuff without hemorrhaging money!
