I tried it at home and it was really delicious and soft ,but I put half of the sugar and it was still a little too sweet.
Next time I will use only 80-100 g sugar and I didn't used the powdered sugar+ lemon juice topping because without them they were still really delicious 😋

Made these tonight, they are really good- really sweet and lots of lemon taste. I skipped the icing but they are still good. Thanks for the recipe. The bottom was hard to brown for me- not sure why.

I love every dessert with lemon. If you add the lemon zest to the icing, let it sit for a few minutes. the oil from the zest will give more flavor.

My grandma used to make these same cookies except she used orange juice and orange zest.
Idk what i did wrong? I followed step by step. My cookies came out flat😢 but they was still delicious 😋 just reminded me of some sugar cookies that taste like lemon. Well this was my 1st trial & error. I'm try it again soon.

Sarah Dugger, if you are diabetic, which I am, use 'Sugar In The Raw' instead of Splenda.

I would leave it for about two hours. Also, put some “baking flour spray” in the scoop, it will be easier to place on baking sheet.

I don't have butter flavor shortening, but I do have reg shortening. Will that throw off the flavor.. Or use extra butter??
