It was never confirmed that gf is immortal, these are things that fans invent
"Innocence doesn't get you far" was already a great moment in the original Powerdown. The slight calm, the visual and that "WAHOO!" that sends you in the final part made the song an incredible thing.
But.
This is a masterclass improvement. I am saying this with full-on sincerity : i was in *shock* to the version of "innocence doesn't get you far" in the V2. And that was great.

In the original,he has (roughly) the same size as mario.exe and mario.exe is super mario sized,and mx in mario pc port, he grew bigger than an ordinary super mario,so that's why he's portrayed as a giant here in the great update

The point is how the characters, sensations, etc. are conveyed. It's not just making good music but making it communicate with you through artistic direction
The scene of the GF being split in half to the sound of the music then the BF changing his face in the next moment is incredible.
I think the best part is at the end of the song, where the screen goes dark and you hear a "Game Over" sound, implying that BF has died

My only major nitpick for the entire mod is that it never got explained how girlfriend survived being "killed" here.
It doesn't really affect much in the grand scheme of things... but basically pulling the same thing twice at the ending kinda loses it's impact once you already seen it done here and GF survives. :P
I took it as she had 3 lives like a mario game. She dies in dictator, dies here, and then dies at the end. BF also dies in Dictator, and All-stars, but I don't know where his other death would be.

I dont understand why people don't like the remake of this song, it sounds so much better in every way and to think this song was done lazy is actually crazy. I personally love this song and it portrays MX perfectly and MX just cuts to the chase (figuratively and literally). The sprites are 100% better and i think the way they went with making MX Castle-size makes sense because last version they made him roughly the same size as horror mario. I know that people are upset because the devs made this song "just another transformation song" and i get that the format where it starts as "your favorite childhood character", then turns into a gruesome monster is extremely overused but you gotta hand it to them, they did this really good.

imo, i liked Nova64's version of the False Hero section of Powerdown V2. it sounded more powerful tbh. but otherwise, i LOVE this v2!

It’s not supposed to sound powerful, it’s supposed to sound ominous. And Nova’s segment was cluttered asf, u deadass could barely hear the vocals lmao. Overall the new version is an objective improvement.

En si, en algunas canciones morian, Asi que esas muertes cuentan Como que perdieron una Vida no?
Y la vida 0? No existe o que pasa? En varios juegos de Mario (Super Mario 64 y Super Mario Sunshine por ejemplo) existe que cuando pierdes una la última vida, te dan una vida 0 que sería como una última oportunidad antes del Game over, lo tengo visto debido a que jugue todos los juegos.
Otra cosa, no era que tenían vidas infinitas? En la selección de canciones, si no recuerdo mal, en la parte de vidas de Boyfriend, aparece el simbolo de infinito. Y si pensamos con lógica, Girlfriend, Pico y el Mario de IHY tendrían el mismo número.
Otra razón para pensar en eso, es que si de verdad Ultra M ya valió vrg a esos pibes, lo lógico es darles un dolor eterno en vez de acabar con ellos y ya no poder hacer nada con ellos no? Algo similar a lo que ocurre con Lucas y MX, que él le dió muchas vidas a Lucas para torturarlo siempre

I just... fucking *adore* how _massive_ MX is here. He is the size of the goddamn *castle* ffs. It's not even _just_ that he's a living skyscraper, it's that he's huge _and_ he's also fucking *Super Mario.* I have never really _felt_ how _threatening_ an fnf character must be just to _stand near._
