*I wasn't one of the people that donated to their GoFundMe campaign to raise the $350 for his family to buy him the glasses. But I would like to be one of the people to thank every single person that did donate. Some say money can't buy happiness. I say it can if you spend it the right way. Hope this man can enjoy the rest of his life with his family. In color. :)*
It's times like this, when I wish I could experience something like that. Seeing color for the first time, seeing the individual leaves on a tree for the first time, hearing anything for the first time. It's overwhelming, and here I am sitting at my computer screen just crying.. Lol
SkyKiller63 Oh yes, I remember when I first got glasses and I could see individual leaves on a tree for the first time. It was like: "WOAH! EVERYTHING IS SO CLEAR!" :D
SkyKiller63 If you have full use of all your functions I think a better way to think about it is to be thankful for the things that we so easily take for granted. :)
SkyKiller63 People wearing these don't see new colors. They're red/green colorblind, so they see blue/purple/yellow and grey. THese glasses basically make the red and green another color - like yellow and blue.
I totally cried! Amazing! I hope I can someday afford to get these for my sweetheart! We've been together 15 years and the other day he said he loved his "brown eyed girl" if only he could see my eyes are vivid green :(
We collected money from family and friends with a gofundme page. It only took a week or so to raise the funds and we 2nd day aired the glasses so he had them for his birthday.
EnChroma, Inc. Ray-Ban sunglasses are mostly made in Italy. Anyways very cool product. I find it fascinating that these things can be improved with passive technology.
Husnain Anwaar Exactly. It's like humans inventing something that prevents tsunamis from hitting cities, and one guy going: "You shouldn't thank science for that, thank God." If you believe in God, then God's the one who brought the tsunami.
I love how the girl in the purple jacket was the only child who seemed to understand the importance of what her father was experiencing. That's very special considering the other children had no clue, not saying it's terrible, I know they're just kids. It's just the fact she stayed near her dad and got mad at her brother for putting things on his head, then gives him the hug, that was heartwarming.
Manseung Ha actually, it's because they are human. It's just that the way that you think about human beings is different from a real definition of a human being. Disliking is a typical human behaviour. Now here's a terminology problem. Those who wish to show themselves as different and distinctive can't say they are humans, but they are humans. We could start a new order of "overhumans" or something. Like, we who use brains or something, I don't know really, youtube isn't really a place for serious discussions, it's probably best for watching funny stuff. Plus the funny stuff has the least dislikes and annoying comments.
I didn't notice that...well its because I'm color blind lol. I have a really hard time seeing red on peoples faces. I wonder what red really looks like.
Irene Cervantes Hope one day you can afford the glasses cuz red is the coolest liveliest color ever :b Red represents life, hence why blood is colored red.
+Darklarik huh i can kinda imagine! i definately see red but very bland and muted..hence i cant truly see purple i see blue instead... :-/ blood sadly looks almost like a black to me i cant see that spectrum very well at all :/ i will definately try these out :)
haha well, blood is not colored red because of it but life, love etc is represented with red due to the color of the blood =). Blood gets its red color from iron-oxide in hemoglobin.
I tried two versions that I liked and they were out of both. BTW, I was in a work meeting yesterday and they had a presentation with red markups I couldn't read. I wonder how well they work indoors? I felt so stupid that I couldn't see the red. People act like I am making it up and they have no compassion. :(
He has said that they don't work as well inside because of lighting. He did notice a slight difference though. I believe en chroma commented on here somewhere that they are working on regular lenses.
I saw the video from BC Videos about colorblind people seeing color for the first time. With the shear lack of emotion in that video I thought it was fake. I'm glad I ran across this video. His reaction let me know that these are genuine.
Thank you for sharing such an amazing reaction. It's on par with those videos of the deaf hearing for the first time with cochlear implants. So raw and emotional.
This made my day :) I can't estimate how much the glasses make him happy but I think his world is more beautiful than before for sure. Thanks for the scientist and improving in technologies and yeah!! a lovely sister like you "Katherine". I don't know about how it work but I'm absolutely confident that it will help many people who have got the same problem being happier :)
Pretty much one of the best videos I've ever seen on TH-cam. Thanks for posting. Kudos to the guy for seeing his own family in color for the first time.
What a lovely video, almost makes me shed some manly tears! So happy for him & that he gets to experience what others take for granted! Also gotta love his daughters reaction (the one in pink) when she saw her emotional father, just so understanding and supportive with her hugs, cute!
These kids are priceless, their enthusiasm and goofiness are so fun. The oldest reminds me of my daughter, mouthy yet amusing. Singing the Jeopardy theme song as he's opening the package. Haha. Also, Petey's reaction was excellent! Can't stop smiling for him. Enjoy that colorful world around you, now that you can see it.
This is truly a beautiful moment. You can really hear the love from the woman filming, especially stopping the film as soon as he became too overwhelmed. I thought most of the kids were fine, they're young and don't fully grasp the magnitude of the moment... But the older girl in the teal coat was a little insensitive/immature for her age. Singing the jeopardy song while he's trying to open them and grimacing when he asks her to try them out? His daughter in the pink is a doll though.
The things we take for granted in this life. A little thing like the color of flowers, the color of our eyes. This is beautiful. What a beautiful gift! Brought tears to my eyes!
One of my friends has Monochromatism colorblindness, so she can only see in black, white, and scales of grey. I've been working up some money to save for a pair for her
1) I'm aro/ace so no, no crushes, though it honestly doesn't really matter either way. 2) Reading through my emails I realize now that they won't work for her.
Aosa O'Loughlan I'm not colorblind but I have some pretty messed up sight, I remember when I got my first pair of glasses I felt the same way. Everything looked like in a cartoon, lively and full of color, it really was a whole new world and I couldn't even believe how I managed not to die or be injured before having them. School suddenly became fun and I started understanding all the movies and reading all the books. That's just with regular old glasses, you should definitely try to get yourself some of those.
Why? Because it ruined your experience? Oh I'm sorry, I thought I was suppose to be happy for the fact a man gets to see color now while in the presence of his family. Clearly this is some movie by some hack director who ruined it by casting some children... Go fuck yourself.
hahha nice idea! though not sure if it will work. if im not mistaken the enchroma glasses work in a way that helps cones (cells in our eyes that help us distinguish colors) to respond to distinctive wavelengths as they should; most of the color deficient ppl cant distinguish color bcos one of the three cones is not working properly and is responding in a very similar way to the other one of the three cones, so it's as if they have only 2 cones instead of 3. These glasses help out that abnormal cone by 'filtering' of lights. Dogs and cats naturally have 2 cones... so the glasses wont really help for them..
a perfect reinforcement for me to never have kids i'm sorry but it detracted from the touching moment. really hard to focus on the dad but, as a good parent with healthy children, i guess the parents would be accustomed to tuning them out so good on him. man, if i were him i would tell the kids to go away and let me enjoy this
Do you really think he's as shallow and sadistic as you? I'm sure he is having a ball seeing this whole new world with his loving family by his side. But you wouldn't know what love is since the only person you give fuck about is you. In which case, please stay single. I'd hate to think of ANYONE wanting to even like you for a second.
I viewed this video right after it was uploaded. I have a brother who is severe red/green color blind. I never realized how bad his was until we were driving one day and he asked me what color the traffic light was because it was turned on its side instead of up and down. I am also the only color blind female in our family, but I can see color and several different hues/shades. My oldest son is color blind similar to mine, but just enough to be annoying as mine is! Three cheers to this video - it touched me deeply. What an awesome gift: Being able to see your children's eye color for the first time. So many people take seeing color for granted. THANK YOU FOR SHARING IT! And thank you to your brother and his family for allowing you to share it!
I went through many comments but didn't see a answer. now that he has had them for a while how does he like them and how does he feel about them? by the way I cried when I watched this. I'm 29years old and red green colorblind and after seeing this video my parents are buying me them for my birthday. my birthday isn't untill dexter 20th but they are giving me them tomorrow or Monday because they can't wait :) im very curious about how he is doing with them. does he wear them often still? does he feel weird not using them? oh my so much in my head but I'll stick to those questions :) thank you for uploading this. I thank you very much Aloha - Wayne
This is beautiful and his wife is so amazing for doing this for him.Hes so speechless. on another note How can someone dislike this. Those people have no humanity in them at all.
sportlol Except for it's not by chance. They're giving him a gift and they want to record his reaction (who wouldn't); and of course the kids are all wearing different colors, have you ever been around kids before? I've never seen kids dress in the same color unless forced. I mean do you really expect that hyperactive little shit to wear ink or purple? Also they say in the video that they got the flowers specifically for him and because it's winter, which makes since to have something colorful outside in winter because grey and dreary gets to you after a while. Being skeptical is fine, healthy in my opinion, but seriously you're being a cynic and that's a step too far.
I know you have a ton of comments and i apologize if my question has been asked so many times. I'm just wondering whether they would change anything for me and whether i should ask my parents to get them for me for Christmas. I have red-green color blindness (Deuteranomaly, to be precise) but i've learnt to determine colors from one another (with some level of difficulty and mishaps). Color blind tests are where i don't shine. In EnChromas color blind test i scored "Moderate Deutan". So my question is: *Is it worth it?* And if you have the time, how bad is your color blindless?
I cant wait to try these out (I have mild protan), been trying to get my prescription sorted before I order a pair for over a month nearly two now (astigmatism). Anyone else had a hard time getting glasses sorted? Should I be looking for a second opinion? I've been given two prescription now both of which havnt been right D:
Katherine Empey sorry I dont think I was very clear, I didnt asume that you did get perscriptions, on second thought this is hardly the place to be asking for advice on the subject. I was wondering if after going to the opticians on several ocations and been given the wrong perscription twice I should try to get a second opinion. These enchroma glasses sound amazing and I love to get a pair as perscription even though my eyesight isnt to bad. Seems like it would be wise to get full vision correction as it were since they are so exspensive.
my grandfather was color blind. I cannot imagine had he had lived to see these glasses. I am so happy for him. He was rather touched emotionally. loved it!
Question for the poster. I'm red/green colorblind and I can see that the flowers are red, pink, and yellow. Can you spot that out without the glasses as well? I'm asking not only out of curiosity but my mother wants to buy me colorblind glasses for Christmas and I hear they get pretty expensive. Is it worth it in your opinion? Thanks buddy.
Katherine Empey awesome. Thanks for the quick reply. I always felt like I can see just fine but I failed my color tests as a child and in the Army. I'm definitely looking forward too seeing the world differently thanks to your video.
I just found THE PERFECT gift for my man!! This made me cry. I'm so excited for him to be able to see the world as it's beautiful colorful self!!! I cannot wait for his bday.
The people who created these glasses have done so much for so many...they have made a difference in the world. We all strive to be something, and they accomplished that. Seeing the reactions of people who are seeing all these colors for the first time is incredible.
Really makes you appreciate the gift of color and the ability to see it. He is overloaded with feeling and emotion from seeing the true colors. Made me weak just watching.
I watched a video on TH-cam about what it's like to be color blind after viewing your video. I didn't realize how difficult it was for folks to not be able to distinguish different shades of color. Thank you for sharing this incredible moment with us.
For us who have normal vision and see the color around us, it is a beautiful sight to see this man now enjoy what we take for granted. The color of his wife's eyes, his kids eyes, flowers, the sky, trees, his home. What a wonderful family to give this man a true happy birthday.
Fjolltzu But how? Its not like his eyes are different. Why would it matter how the glasses alter the lightwaves or whatever. His eyes should not be able to recieve them anyways?
Edvin Söderman the most common type of color blindness isn't really the inabillity to see color, but problems with distinguishing two of the primary colors due to one of the photosensitive pigments used by the cone cells in the eye having an abnormal spectral sensitivity. A common form of this is the type of red-green colorblindness where the "green" pigment has a sensitivity that is shifted towards the red side of the spectrum, so that there is much less separation in the sensitivity curves between the green and red than in a normal person. This causes the brain to interpret that range of colors as being very similar, perhaps what would seem like greenish or reddish to a person with normal vision would look like just different tones of yellowish browns to a person with this condition. What these glasses seem to do is use a special type of optical filter that is designed to strongly reduce the amount of light in the frequencies between the primary colors and so reduce the problem caused by the anomalous pigments.
First and foremost, incredibly touching video. Secondly, holy f*** those kids are annoying! I know it's not their fault because they're kids, but the fact that they don't understand what's happening right now makes me want to smack them. Like, "child, your father can, for the first time in his life, see the vibrancy of flowers and how they stand out against the snow, see how bright your eyes are, and you're asking if you can go back inside?! You're whining about how cold it is?!" Again, not exactly their fault cause they're kids, but the fact that kids are like that is the precise reason I never want them.
Of course their dad doesn't find that irritating because he's the dad you can't see from his perspective and you don't love them as much as he does so why should you care? He loves them and he cares if they're cold but you don't so please don't interfere with what's happening in their lives
Jenna Vasquez True, they're not mine and I don't love them. However, i was stating my opinion that basically sums up to 'I hate kids in general,' an opinion that I don't seem to be alone in, and there's nothing wrong with saying so. Also, interfer? Wrong choice of words there buddy. The frick am I gonna do, hunt down those kids, grab 'em by the ears and start shaking them down?
I love how the girl in the purple jacket was the only child who seemed to understand the importance of what her father was experiencing. That's very special considering the other children had no clue, not saying it's terrible, I know they're just kids. It's just the fact she stayed near her dad and got mad at her brother for putting things on his head, then gives him the hug, that was heartwarming.

Yep. Yep. I'm crying now.
"Look at your kid's eyes. They are so pretty"

"Look at your kids eyes, they're so pretty"
Do you want him to cry his eyes out...why would you tell him that. That line made me cry
i was not gonna tear up not gonna tear up .....OH DANGIT

It's times like this, when I wish I could experience something like that. Seeing color for the first time, seeing the individual leaves on a tree for the first time, hearing anything for the first time. It's overwhelming, and here I am sitting at my computer screen just crying.. Lol
SkyKiller63 Oh yes, I remember when I first got glasses and I could see individual leaves on a tree for the first time. It was like: "WOAH! EVERYTHING IS SO CLEAR!" :D

Silver Wind Same thing happened to me. I just stared at the grass with awe and was surprised how clear and shiny it was.
I think the price is very reasonable! I just need to save money up because I lost my job recently. I can't wait to get some for him!
Stacey Laing Maybe he just is cheating on you.
Stacey Laing try gofundme or ingiegogo
EnChroma, Inc. Ray-Ban sunglasses are mostly made in Italy.
Anyways very cool product. I find it fascinating that these things can be improved with passive technology.
That girl who's holding the paper wraps is so sweet
thank you science
Husnain Anwaar absolutely! And thanks to people that care enough to bring us these.
Zer Jizzy allah made him color blind science made him see colors
so thank you science !
Husnain Anwaar Exactly. It's like humans inventing something that prevents tsunamis from hitting cities, and one guy going: "You shouldn't thank science for that, thank God."
If you believe in God, then God's the one who brought the tsunami.
Genial Idiot and malaria. Starvation. Sharks killing children. Killers and rapists. Suicide.

None of the kids understand how important this is to him. It brings me to tears every time I watch it.

This is still one of my favourite videos ever put up on TH-cam. Thanks for sharing this vulnerable moment with us.
How can a human being dislike this video?
Manseung Ha not human beings, trolls...
Manseung Ha some think it's paid
Manseung Ha because of the annoying kids
Manseung Ha actually, it's because they are human. It's just that the way that you think about human beings is different from a real definition of a human being. If you get a chance to try a pair I hope your experience is amazing!
Katherine Empey Thanks, I was ready to order but they are out of stock- probably until the end of the month. Hopefully soon...!
They were out of stock for the cheapest ones when we ordered too. We upgraded to get them earlier.
I tried two versions that I liked and they were out of both.
BTW, I was in a work meeting yesterday and they had a presentation with red markups I couldn't read. I wonder how well they work indoors? I felt so stupid that I couldn't see the red. People act like I am making it up and they have no compassion. :(

at 1:20 too lmao. She purposely ran over to step in the water then demand he acknowledges it hahaha. oh kids.
I think what's beautiful about this is it makes every appreciate how wonderful such a basic part of most of our days really is.
Thank you for sharing this amazing moment. I wish you all an infinite bliss!
He seems like such a great dad, I'm so glad he got to have this experience.
This is my favorite Enchroma glasses video, or any video for that matter.

3:13 "Daddy, DAD! I have a wrock. I put the wok in the water."
Best part of the video.
I love stories like this when someone who is clearing not living above their means gets a tremendous life gift. Really heart-warming.
What type of colorblindness does he have? Is it total? Tritanopia?
Red/green
Katherine Empey Oh my…If it made that much of a difference I'll buy them! I have the same type of colorblindness :D
Jonathan Rodriguez my brother has said that anyone who lives near is welcome to come give them a try before they buy them.
Katherine Empey I wish but my parents are very protective XD I asked but they said it'll be too much for right now. We'll see in the future. Thanks!
Katherine Empey where is near? I don't know your location, and I'd like to see how they improve my vision if I can.
These kids are priceless, their enthusiasm and goofiness are so fun. The oldest reminds me of my daughter, mouthy yet amusing. Singing the Jeopardy theme song as he's opening the package. Haha. this kid is special, awesome and cute
Thank you for sharing the video. It made me smile to watch him see new colors, esp the part where he hugged his kids.

I guess he is in the age which wants people to take her seriously by pretending to have an opinion that is diffrent from other people
thats normal :)
No my cousin just likes to troll people
Geopat I thought I was the only one
I started bawling my eyes out...bless you and your family. What an amazing gift.
WHEN HE LOOKED AT HIS KIDS EYES JUST AWWWWWWW
This is so overwhelmingly beautiful!!! I'm truly happy for him! Enjoy the new world you're finally seeing! :)
Coby's pissing me off lol
The things we take for granted in this life. A little thing like the color of flowers, the color of our eyes. This is beautiful. What a beautiful gift! Brought tears to my eyes!
One of my friends has Monochromatism colorblindness, so she can only see in black, white, and scales of grey. I've been working up some money to save for a pair for her
L Lawliet do they have glasses for that aswell?
a person who dislikes humankind and avoids human society nah just shut up,
L Lawliet I think they dont work on this type of colorblindness
If this guy actually replies ti his own comment section, it is impossible for people who can not see "color"
1) I'm aro/ace so no, no crushes, though it honestly doesn't really matter either way.
2) Reading through my emails I realize now that they won't work for her.
I could watch these videos all day. The human emotion is a beautiful thing.
what does he say at 3:50? this is amazing by the way!!! thanks for sharing. ☺️
He said "I'm going to look like an idiot," because he was crying.
What a precious moment. Thanks K.Empey
+Katherine Empey You were Close! He said "I hope I don't look like an idiot."
+Nate Higgs "I hope I don't look like an idiot, though"
he said i hope I don't look like an idiot.
I came looking for videos about learning after the EnChroma glasses. Thanks for posting this. I'm all choked up.
Thanks to this video we will be giving our father his glasses on Sunday!
Congratulations all of U... this was a teaching for every us.... thanks 4 remember every us the bless of the color in our dialy life....
I'm colour (color) blind but I can't imagine reacting like this. I kinda want to buy a pair myself.
Alexandr Mihailyv I guess you're right. This man is seeing colors he has never seen before. I really want to try those glasses now.
Aosa O'Loughlan make a video about it if you end up buying it
If anyone is wondering. I got some, and I don't like them.
Aosa do they not work? Or is the change in vision too much? Details, they are important.
This is so sweet, especially the look on his face when he looks at his little girl's eyes. Heart went 'splody fight there.
I almost cried....TEARS OF JOY!!!
I am red/green colourblind too, this was beautiful to watch, will definitely check out these glasses. Thank you for sharing this incredible video :)
I guess I'm the only one who drowned out the kid's voices and only focused on his voice and reactions.
Why? Because it ruined your experience?
Oh I'm sorry, I thought I was suppose to be happy for the fact a man gets to see color now while in the presence of his family.
Clearly this is some movie by some hack director who ruined it by casting some children...
Go fuck yourself.
Timesmanify he meant he isn't like the people in the other comments "these kids are so annoying such b***es"
You may have tempered nerves of steel.
Beautiful family. It's great that he now enjoys them in true color!
I'd like to approximate what he saw before and after...
Neceros the enChroma website has a comparison picture, particularly for red-green colour-blindness. enchroma.com/technology/
Neceros there is also a chrome extention that makes everything look like different kinds of colourblind.
Neceros chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/colorblinding/dgbgleaofjainknadoffbjkclicbbgaa
StarsTony thats the one!
Enjoy it :)
I had the same experience. It is overwhelming. Congratulations and thank you EnChroma for giving us a bit more color in our lives. It's wonderful.
has anyone ever thought about giving some to a dog just to see their reaction?
I'm no scientist but I like your comment
hahha nice idea! though not sure if it will work. if im not mistaken the enchroma glasses work in a way that helps cones (cells in our eyes that help us distinguish colors) to respond to distinctive wavelengths as they should; most of the color deficient ppl cant distinguish color bcos one of the three cones is not working properly and is responding in a very similar way to the other one of the three cones, so it's as if they have only 2 cones instead of 3. These glasses help out that abnormal cone by 'filtering' of lights. Dogs and cats naturally have 2 cones... so the glasses wont really help for them..
Mr.flesh Light the dogs aren't daltonic.
Mr.flesh Light ok this comment killed me omg 💀
I'm no scientist so vote trump
This was a touching moment, thank you very much for sharing! Best regards to you and your brother. ♥
Lovely family, this is touching
This is beautiful. Makes me even more grateful.
Hope, he doesn't hate the house, when he steps inside...
Really happy, science got this fixed so =)
It' s so touching. I do really hope that person enjoy all of the earth' colors.
a perfect reinforcement for me to never have kids
i'm sorry but it detracted from the touching moment. really hard to focus on the dad
but, as a good parent with healthy children, i guess the parents would be accustomed to tuning them out
so good on him. man, if i were him i would tell the kids to go away and let me enjoy this
Do you really think he's as shallow and sadistic as you?
I'm sure he is having a ball seeing this whole new world with his loving family by his side.
But you wouldn't know what love is since the only person you give fuck about is you.
In which case, please stay single. I'd hate to think of ANYONE wanting to even like you for a second.
Are you serious? The most beautiful part was when he looked at his children's eyes for the first time and saw the blue color. You're a moron.
Influennza Pyloric The kid in violet seemed to understand the importance of this. It's all in how you raise them you ass.
Wayne Carter he wears them all the time. Still discovering new colors.
Katherine Empey Oh my! yes yes yes im so happy for him :)
How did it go??? Hope they worked for you!
Wayne Carter I love them! still wearing them as of this morning!
Wayne Carter it's been a week , answer please
This is beautiful and his wife is so amazing for doing this for him.Hes so speechless. on another note How can someone dislike this. Those people have no humanity in them at all.
tears in meh eyes legit..
OMG this is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen on youtube!
Next big thing is EnChroma eye contacts
That kid in purple jacket is so mature for her age. She fully understood the gravity of the situation and how overwhelmed her dad was.
Who dislikes something like this?
TheDoubleDinger I did.
LetsNeverPlayAgain Nice
***** because of reasons
sportlol Except for it's not by chance.
TheDoubleDinger Jealous dogs.
THIS. IS. BEAUTIFUL! I'm truly happy for him!
Gundars Šlitke I couldn't imagine anything more worth it!
Colorblind Dad Thank you for you quick response. I guess that settles it - i'm gonna try to get them.
If you like the idea of seeing a color you couldn't even imagine, then yes.
This video made me cry... His reaction was amazing and the way she said look at our children's eyes! It's so cute to me!
The ones we bought weren't prescription
Katherine Empey sorry I dont think I was very clear, I didnt asume that you did get perscriptions, on second thought this is hardly the place to be asking for advice on the subject. I was wondering if after going to the opticians on several ocations and been given the wrong perscription twice I should try to get a second opinion. These enchroma glasses sound amazing and I love to get a pair as perscription even though my eyesight isnt to bad. Seems like it would be wise to get full vision correction as it were since they are so exspensive.
Katherine Empey Willow wood apartments??? WHAT?? no way? really in PA? not gonna say the city if true.
Yup, willowwood
Katherine Empey wow small world. my best friend lives there, and im in the middle of the city. great video! glad to see someone from our city go big!
my grandfather was color blind.
TeamJfish I would definitely say it's worth it.
Katherine Empey awesome. Thanks for the quick reply. I always felt like I can see just fine but I failed my color tests as a child and in the Army. I'm definitely looking forward too seeing the world differently thanks to your video.
TeamJfish Yes
. you looking fine. But your red and green nearly the same... that glasses will change your view
I just found THE PERFECT gift for my man!! This made me cry. I'm so excited for him to be able to see the world as it's beautiful colorful self!!! I cannot wait for his bday.
i actually cried while watching his reaction
No one will ever top that gift. EV-AH! You gave him color...you gave him roses and sunflowers and flecks of green in his kid's eyes. Beautiful.
god bless the family ❤️
The people who created these glasses have done so much for so many...they have made a difference in the world. We all strive to be something, and they accomplished that. Seeing the reactions of people who are seeing all these colors for the first time is incredible.
A whole neeeeeew wooooorld!
A new fantastic point of viewwwww...
(disney don't sue me plz)
That's beautiful man. Good on you brother!
If i have a normal color vision and use this glasses i'll be a superhero with super sight?
Sincerely, such a beautiful experience, thank you for sharing!
You can actually see the moment where his life changes!
Really makes you appreciate the gift of color and the ability to see it. He is overloaded with feeling and emotion from seeing the true colors. Made me weak just watching.
I am so happy for him omg
I watched a video on TH-cam about what it's like to be color blind after viewing your video. I didn't realize how difficult it was for folks to not be able to distinguish different shades of color. Thank you for sharing this incredible moment with us.
1:16 what did he say?
he asked his son to try them and the boys reply is " I can already see colors."
+Katherine Empey hahaha so cute
+Katherine Empey LOL savage!
For us who have normal vision and see the color around us, it is a beautiful sight to see this man now enjoy what we take for granted. The color of his wife's eyes, his kids eyes, flowers, the sky, trees, his home. What a wonderful family to give this man a true happy birthday.
So, how do these work?
SuperSugoiSenpai They correct your colour blindness and makes you see colours the correct way
Fjolltzu But how? Its not like his eyes are different. Why would it matter how the glasses alter the lightwaves or whatever. His eyes should not be able to recieve them anyways?
Fjolltzu **Nicolas Cage face**
SuperSugoiSenpai enchroma.com/technology/ Someone posted this as a reply to somebody else but I believe it answers your question.
I would have loved to have seen more of his experience with the glasses.
This made my day.

You're whining about how cold it is?!"
Again, not exactly their fault cause they're kids, but the fact that kids are like that is the precise reason I never want them.
The frick am I gonna do, hunt down those kids, grab 'em by the ears and start shaking them down?
what a wonderful thing to share! thank you for this. and how great is this guy? i am so happy for him. best wishes to you all!
ofcourse the bro misbehaves, that was me as a kid lol
Best birthday gift ever
I love how the girl in the purple jacket was the only child who seemed to understand the importance of what her father was experiencing. That's very special considering the other children had no clue, not saying it's terrible, I know they're just kids. It's just the fact she stayed near her dad and got mad at her brother for putting things on his head, then gives him the hug, that was heartwarming.
I noticed that too. What a sweet kid ♡
Lucky Lex totally !
Lucky Lex the jacket is pink. kinda hot pink
Lucky Lex she's my little angel! always so sweet to everyone!
Colorblind she seems to have a old soul to her, Enjoy your bright and colorful holidays! :)
