I'm amazed on how you managed to completely avoid the actual town center and show the outskirts. You should of gone south on James Redman to see the main area filled with shops and restaurants. As for the neighborhoods, the nicest area is Walden Lake. Large beautiful houses and streets.
Unfortunately your low vibrations drew you to the worst parts of Plant City. Plant City is like any other city with high income, low income and poverty stricken areas (neighborhoods). You did not go anywhere near the best of Plant City. Though the town is small it has many admirable qualities. Get a tour guide . Educate yourself. Be more knowledgeable about the information you share. Ask questions. The people there are friendly and would gladly show you the town,; the good, the bad and the ugly. Plant city is or was at one time the strawberry capital of the world. During the strawberry festival people go there from all over the country to participate and enjoy the music , the food, and the people. The local talent is amazing. Your ignorance is baffling.. And by the way the reason Grady Judd has a job is because of the high level of crime occuring in Polk county. Please do your home work. The more you know the more you grow. I live near a major city and apartments are actually on top of mom and pop stores and you complain about a house being in the back of a store. Let people live. If you can't help them don't harm them. Many of the roads here in Plant City need to be repaved really bad! When u were at Thonotosassa and Baker and showed the cop had someone pulled over, there needs to be more of a law enforcement presence in this town alone.
I live in Zephyrhills about 18 miles north of Plant City and Thonotosassa nearby,a charming quaint community bordered by the beautiful Lake Thonotosassa, with luxury homes and low income trailer parks alike along with Hillsbourogh River State Park which actually has rapids on the start of the river in the park and gators sunbathing on the rocks of the rspids..Check them out someday!

Plant city, over built horrendous traffic. Bought country in 70s. Now surrounded by homes, subdivisions. Used to be nice town. Now stinks would move but 86 now. Children moved north in state. Disgusted.

I grew up in plant city. I also lives for a short time in Alabama. There is no comparison in my opinion.
