    Nice looking site, Thanks for sharing. We are just back from Alderstead Heath CMC site as we had my aunties 90th Birthday bash. Hence unable to make Hermanfest. Just thinking must add Longleat to the list, Havent't been to the park in years!❤

    Longleat is a good example of the erosion of caravan and motorhome club site benefits. When our kids were toddlers, as site guests, we were able to walk around the house gardens and attractions. It was lovely and felt like a privilege. That was some 15 years ago. We stayed there a couple of years ago and were shouted at by security for trying to walk through the site to the local pub. There is nothing within a reasonable walking distance unfortunately therefore unless you intend paying Longleat admission, I would stay clear. We did however find the site well run by the wardens

      It stopped when the son took over running Longleat. Not the club's fault.

    Hi Bob & Jenny, very brave staying at Longleat I think I’d have a meltdown if I had the lions 🦁 roar 😱 How did Poppy get on with the animal noises? Love Jenny’s humour, she saw the sign 🤪😂 Safe journey, Em 💜

    We spent the week before last at The Old Oaks, Glastonbury. Made a mistake and booked to go the Saturday the festival was on. It was our second visit, the first being in July 2020 when they reopened with Covid restrictions. It’s a really lovely site from which we visited Wells Cathedral (I love the chapter house, but it was closed), Glastonbury Abbey, and the East Somerset Railway in 2020. We did the railway again this year (a very short ride, as you say), but had a nice lunch at the cafe there. We also visited National Trust Lytes Cary and Stourhead properties. Lytes Cary is small with pretty gardens. Stourhead is huge and very popular, but you can visit the house as well as the extensive garden with a stroll around the lake. We visited the caves at Wookey Hole, our last trip there being over 20 years ago. Whilst the caves were interesting (some very high walkways), the food in the cafe was dreadful, so avoid at all costs. On the way home we passed the signs for the Longleat CAMC site and wondered what it’s like there, so thanks for the tour. For some strange reason out Sat Nag (Tourer Two) decided to take us from Frome towards the A36 via Warminster town centre instead of straight along the A36 itself. I did suggest to OH to ignore it and go straight on, but he decided to ignore me instead. In fact it did a few strange route suggestions whilst we were away this time in spite of an update before we left home, whether set up for caravan and car or car only. Normally it’s reliable. Has your’s been OK? I think you have the same one.

      We'll have to try Old Oaks one day, looks good. I often think that the occasional sat nav oute deviations are due to traffic incidents probably long cleared.

    Great vid beautiful campground . I'm wondering why motor homes in the UK have rooftop AC ? I don't know how people could put up with that especially in places like France Spain and Italy . Even though I live in Canada, we swear by our AC .

    • @BobEarnshawMoHo
      @BobEarnshawMoHo  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It doesn't really get that warm in the UK. Getting into the 30°C is really quite rare. Useful if you are venturing further south though.

    Hi Bob and Jenny a great video as ever love Somerset it’s such a pretty county and very different as well wells and cheddar are lovely if you go we love both and also Glastonbury is nice and taking a trip on the west Somerset railway from bishops lydeard to minehead all along the coast
    Well done bob on navigating that very tight exit of the site that scaffolding made it even harder
    Love longleat it’s a great place to go round with the mansion and safari park did you hear the lions!
    Looking forward to the next video travel safe all of you Daniel

    Not sure that tow frame should be up in the air.LNB tow bars were very concerned when I did exactly that. Apparently the connectors could move and pull out

    • @BobEarnshawMoHo
      @BobEarnshawMoHo  ปีที่แล้ว

      No they couldn't, they're twist and lock connectors and it's not made by LNB.

    • @paulscott-v7b

      @BobEarnshawMoHo hi Bob. Yes mine are twist and lock too

      Then you should follow LNBs advice, as I will follow Tow A Frame's advice.
