I have used resin dyes in blooms before, and i used them for a different effect in the centre and not have the dyes run further out into the petals. I love the back colour. The green is nice. I think you did a fabtastic job, Beverely. Great video. Well put together ❤❤
Okay Thanks! These pigments do act like alcohol inks sometimes, so I honestly was confused as to if the 2 were the same🤣 for a little bit. But good to know they can be versatile 🤩 Thanks Babe, greatly appreciate your continued support ❤️
@KustomKre8ted4UByU I've seen plenty use them. I use them, so the spread isn't as wide, but I prefer alcohol inks. If it works, then why not. Resin is about learning, and yours worked, so it gives you a variett of using different materials. be very proud because I am very proud of you. ❤️

Lol.....Girl I was playing grown and tried it and it worked, so you do it too🤣 Seriously, it is all about the temperature of the resin, get a meat thermometer, I think they work best!
looks fab, I've yet to try a bloom, one day. lol oh the others hadn't cured because they are thin. takes much longer for the thinner ones
Give the bloom a try, I might be addicted now!!🤣🤣 Yes I figured they would take longer but not a whole 2 hours longer......that was crazy.
That yellow was a resin pigment not an alcohol ink. The yellow is meant to be mixed in and the inks are meant to spread when dropped. Total different types of pigments. If you want a good alcohol ink try the decorrom brand it is brilliant! It dries with good color coverage and no film on the finished piece like some inks will leave. Also try using a piping bag for your rings you will find you have more control with it. Also never torch alcohol inks! You got lucky it didnt catch fire! Use a heat gun only if you use alcohol at all. Im an art teacher so i always try to give helpful tips when i can so please dont take this as negativity because its not at all. Also thinner pours take longer to cure. Just helpful info that can protect you and help you as you learn and grow. You are doing really great and i think you will have great growth! I loved the background color as well. Love that crystal edge! The petals look lovely.
Some of them act like alcohol inks and others in the same box act like pigments, so it's weird. But I treat them like alcohol ink for the most part because the majority of them do spread when dropped. Thanks so much for watching, greatly appreciate it🤩 and the helpful tips!!
No piping bag just yet, I have never had good success with them🤣 I even worked in the bakery department for 2 grocery stores and those piping bags were my enemy then and I know nothing has changed now🤣🤣🤣
