  • Travellers heading abroad for the Christmas period could be paying more for their holidays.
The Australian dollar has slumped to its lowest level in more than two years today, below 62.30 US cents.
The US Federal Reserve has indicated it expects fewer cuts to interest rates than initially forecast for 2025 - the catalyst for that plummet.

When Labor imports votes through mass migration and we have a uniparty dictatorship takings its orders from the same elites at places like the UN, the WHO and the WEF one has to ask do we have a democracy anymore and when did we lose it?? The politicians lie to the people to get in, they import votes with mass migration the nation can not support, they create inflation and national problems and pretend to work on solutions to stay in power, do as they please when they are in power and do nothing to fix the problems their uniparty dictatorship made!! The entire system is corrupt to the core and the politicians should be removed and charted with treason but it will never happen!! Anything to do with a Digital ID for all comes into law within a few weeks or less but the real problems take decades to bring laws in so they are addressed and fixed!!

@@williamcrossan9333 That is intended.. there is a growing divide against the rich and the poor!! The problem is the middle class have been converted into the poor and the poor + homeless population has grown beyond what any nation can support!! The fat cats love the inflation because it means they can charge more for the same and get it.. thus.. places like Noosa is full because they have stuffed their pockets full as they benefit from the inflation they had a hand in making!! The question is at what cost and to whom did they obtain that money from?? As I said.. no one I know can afford Christmas and I don't know any of the elites or rich and shameless mob of monsters hey!!

The government is printing jobs under NDIS, which grew from $3b to $50b in just a decade and its predicted to double in the next decade.
Currently its budget is more than medicicare or education.
Non-government sponsored jobs are not growing.

@EducationWillSetYouFree Yes, when 80% of the people on the NDIS should NOT be on it. (I KNOW!)
AND the whole thing has become a Cash Cow Industry.
A Wheelchair pre NDIS cost ~$350 to OWN, Now it costs $330 PER MONTH to Hire.
The Company that imported and manufactured mobility equipment in Victoria was bought out by an arm of Bupa and prices doubled overnight.

One of the reasons Aussie become poor is that new immigrants are poor and do not bring money into Australia like 10 years ago: nowadays poor new immigrants compete jobs with locals.
10 years ago a lot of new immigrants are from China and Hong Kong under investor or business category who bring a lot of money or business opportunities.

How exactly does Trumps tariffs affect Australia’s economy? Simple it doesn’t, any weakness in our economy will be down to the Labor government putting pressure on interest rates and inflation by spending money it doesn’t have.

Better still do what Argentina is doing, Use the US$ as our official currency.
The Australian government seems to want to do away with the AUD , want a Cashless society.
The Banks want it also. People DON'T.
All the Credit Cards are US owned Visa, Master Card, American Express, so why not just use the US Currency?
