My top 5 list would be: Josh Duffy Carlos Torres Tony Mancia Victor Portugal Jak Connolly And many others like Fred W. Thomas, Robert Pho, Ivano Natale, Deran Hall, ...
I feel like La / socal specifically is like the mecca for bng work. All of the worlds best bng flock there because people in socal love that bng look. I agree with most of your picks on artist becuase of their styles being so unique. I think one thing all those artist you chose have in common is they are really good at working the negative space. None of the work looks boring and keeps the eye moving.
I love Paul booths work and there was local artists named teardrop from where I'm at and my mentor twig from I.E. can hit that black and grey really good
Also being local to AZ I think AJ (BLK JAX) and Tommy Lee are some of the best locally. AJ is the free hand king, and Tommy Lee has some crazy detailed pieces.
Nice take! Colors don't show up great on my skin so black/grey is my go too. And the shading looks so sick. To me colors sometimes take away the expressions and depth of some art.
Anyone else know Adan Sanchez? He's at a newer shop in Albuquerque called "Era". I think he even owns it. I've had a consult with him and plan to get an appointment this month. The only thing that scares me is his price. At $3500 per session (7-8 hrs), he's the most expensive I've come across.
That's dope I'm actually getting tattooed by Alexis Vaatete next week lol the guy's a beast at owls. And yeah you definitely jacked up his name lmao. Awesome video though
@@ECaparoso Damn he's booked that far out? I got a three-eyed barn owl with a snake on the inside of my upper arm and coming about halfway down my forearm. Basically finishing off the inside portion of my 3/4 sleeve. Came out amazing and healed perfectly. He's a cool guy it was a good experience
Could you please make a video about great American Traditional/Old School tattoos? There's a lot of people interested in them and getting them done, including myself. I have a Facebook group with 11K members just for that category. I think it would be well rounded if you could do a video of Old school tattoos for your viewers.
1. Nikko hurtado 2. Josh Duffy 3. James withee. 4. Paul booth 5. Megan mascre. 6. Arlo ( I forget his last name). 7. Poche. 8. Ryan Ashley. 9. Victor Portugal. 10. Alex vatette
Hi I would like to take your advice plz about what yo add with half sleeve from the shoulder till the elbow I inked a realistic lion in front biceps and 2 flying swallows at triceps the swallows took the back of the shoulder till the elbow only left now the upper front shoulder and half side shoulder still left as the other side half and the back of shoulder covered by the birds I am thinking of adding even a crown for the lion or leaves branches or may be any other idea.i will be grateful and honoured if u give me a piece of advice
Wow🖤🤍🖤 Awesome choices on artist, love their work!!~* James, I appreciate, and have been learning from your videos, Thank you for sharing🤙🏼 My favorite B&W Artist here in Pennsylvania is, 🖤Julia Oravits🖤🤍🖤
Alex Oberov from Poland is my absolute top artist to collect from if I ever end up in the same country as him, I think his black and grey work is absolute top notch
I won't name my artist, but I know he's known. Based on the portfolio of his work, I asked him to do my sleeve. He started with a scull to anchor the piece. I've seen so many of his sculls that I was very keen, but I'm very unhappy with the scull he did on me. I feel almost like it is sub-par compared to what I know he is capable of. Is there a way you would recommend me talking to him about it? I know he's very skilled in black and grey, but this scull is flat looking and almost all grey with no skin at all for high lights or light source.
@@DanMcNamaraa I was about to tell you off, but I'm reading my comment and realize I was absolutely horrific. In my defense, I had the flu. But, you're right, that's not even half English!
I know bob and am familiar with Paul’s work. With all due respect I stick by my choices. Don’t know who those other tattooers are tho I’ll have to check em out
Don't know if you get to see much stuff from Eastern Canada, but Mike Austin @longwoodstrailtattoo is absolutely amazing ! Check out his work as he's been doing it for at least 3 decades !!

Where is the best place to do tattoo in your body
Ever consider extending onto any part of your hands bro? Or at least knuckles? Your wrists and hands look super bare
Ya I totally will but saving them until I finish my arms
i feel like they only look bare if you consider that everyone is getting hand tattoos nowadays. it's out of control
Hello do you now a tattoo artist that you can recommend for trash pokal style tattoo artist
I’ve gotten work from Austin Rinaldi from Graveyard Tattoo from NYC. Let me know what you think about his stuff.
Alex sorsa is from Moscow or russia at least I’m pretty sure. He uses 3rl
