They should be marked down again in 3 months. I definitely grabbed the blankets (and as I was driving home I remembered I got my youngest 2 grandkids one already), a few shower caps, the makeup sponge, and a milestone blanket. I grabbed some of the body scrubs but when I got to the counter, I realized they all had been opened
@@Allthingswithak yes, it takes that long that’s why if it’s something I really want, I go ahead and grab it. I guess I will keep them and put them in toddler baskets🤔
Tiny does HL have a way to check prices for customers? I’ve been told in two stores than they don’t scan items and that they just input price on item. But what if item is marked down and cheaper than sticker on item?
They are correct. We only scan patterns and gift cards. That’s why it’s so important for the department managers to make sure they are marking all their items down. There is a way to look up items to see if they are marked down or not but most cashiers don’t know how or have access to do that. I am a customer service manager so I always look up items when I’m unsure because sometimes they get overlooked during the markdown process
@@tinyscreationsI found an item that I knew was cheaper at a few other stores and I mention it to the cashier and she acted as if she couldn’t check the price so she called a manager and told her I wanted a price check. The manager went in the back and then called the cashier and gave her a price that was indeed cheaper than sticker price but the price didn’t equate to the 40% sale that was going on. I told the cashier that because of their inability and/or unwillingness to find out the correct prices, customers are often overcharged for items and that’s definitely not fair to customers.
@@beverlyblackwell877 HL has to come up with a better way. It’s sad that the cashier’s don’t have the ability to actually check but there should ALWAYS be a customer service manager at the front to assist the cashier. I have showed all my cashiers how to use the iPad to check for clearance items just in case I’m not there. I also think they should designate a certain day for marking down items. They will give each store a list of items to be marked down with a deadline. One store might mark the items down today and another store might mark the items down 2 weeks from now.
