Not a fan of freeway driving. I prefer the more scenic quieter route. Try Highway 2 to Lake Chelan and then over Blewett Pass, or from Chelan to Leavenworth over Stevens Pass.
@@makodoittoem6984 WA-20 is very scenic, but be advised... very few options for gas or food along the way. I was born in Concrete (1949). They have a good Bakery there... be sure it will be open. Much prefer Chelan through Leavenworth.

WA-20, the North Cascades Hwy to Sedro-Woolley is amazing. Spokane north through the Colville nation, Coulee dam, and then into the mountains
