      AT Perry is going to break out this season. He has a real shot at 1000 yards and 8+ TD's. Really!

    4:33 you played a huge role in that for me. If you didn’t talk him up, I wouldn’t be as expectant for “Bub Means Trub”
    (or “Bub Means Business!”)
    (or “Bub means a dub!”)

    This young man has done all his homework. We are all going to be watching him explode on the seen. If you have not seen him play BuB will have you fitted to your seat with all of his talent. BuB will bring some fans back since our Quarterback left. Watch Carr and means keep you to the seat again.

    The thing I love about our Reciever core that we have 4 receivers at any time that can get vertically and can stack a defense at anytime most teams can’t say that . I think bub can definitely contribute especially if the run game is working efficiently. I have a homie that works for pitt and he said that bub recorded in a pre 40 a 4.35 I think he’s faster then what his 40
    Says .

    11:02 this feels like a reversal of your earlier position. Or do I remember incorrectly?
    Were you more predicting that they would not resign Peat or were you of the opinion that they SHOULD not?

    If Bubba puts in the work like a profession, he can be a workhorse. You can never have enough of that in the stable. Thank God the team puts a premium on intelligent players.

    I think three or four years from now we'll be looking back at the 5th round of this draft and kicking ourselves in the ass. Passing up all the quality Olinemen left on the board for Rattler, then taking at best the 3rd receiver left on the board, then Jaylan Ford (the only pick I liked in that round) also over a couple good linemen. All three of those guys are gonna have to ball out of control to make that round anything but a disaster.

    The Saints DID try to resign Andrus Peat. But after years of being the guy everyone wanted to get rid of, the guy forced to take a pay cut, the guy that was labeled a bust, Peat decided he'd rather play for a team that actually wanted him, rather than the Saints who tolerated him because he was better than whatever else they had. Hell....last year, he started out behind Trevor Penning. We were always trying to replace Peat. He was unappreciated and unwanted, so he left.

    Ross i really need to understand why everyone treats the saints like their the panthers, giants and have them in the late 20s despite going 9-8 . If we had the same OC and offense I get what you're saying about Peat.. But if Kubiak didn't push to keep him, then he doesn't have what he feels is essential for his OLine. No need to discuss.

    I dont see it in Bub Means, he looks like a 5th rounder that maybe stick and bounce around the bottom of a roster and be on ST coverage units. He has good long speed not great. He has some technique to beat press. He is a linear athlete, limited when in change of directiona, his acceleration is pedestrian. Nothing special after rhe catch. He is a similar athlete to Kirk Merritt. Hes limited in his route tree.

    C’mon Ross, you’re creating a “narrative” regarding Andrus Peat, when it appears, more likely than not, that the Saints made Peat an offer, as near as makes no difference, to what the Raiders gave him and Peat chose a fresh start with LV over returning to the Saints.
    The Saints signing Lucas Patrick in the immediate aftermath of Peat making his decision, all but confirms it.

    • @LockedOnSaints
      @LockedOnSaints  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think y'all overestimate me when it comes to my impact "creating a narrative" isn't really a thing I do. Haha. Just expressing my opinion on why, if they could have, they should have kept him. Totally okay with anyone disagreeing though, of course. No issue with that. But not really here to "create a narrative" not so full of myself that I'd think that's my place. haha
