After i got baptised in Jesus name, that night i left for South Korea for a military excercise and i was in a foxhole with my baptist friend. All of a sudden their was the sound of a rushing mighty wind, a flash of stars falling from the skies and my body physically shaking like i was in an earthquake. I felt a pulling feeling over my whole body and then God came down upon me and my heart started expanding out in every direction beyond my physical body and then hurricane force wind came from every direction blowing from below me through the middle of my body and out the top of my head ,as it passed through all hurts and pains were removed and a solidification feeling started at my feet and climbed up my body until it reached the top of my head. I wanted to scream for joy but restrained myself because the military excercise had begun and we had to be quiet, so i quietly thanked Jesus for what he just did to me. I then let out a deep breath and i was so high and felt perfect, nothing wrong on the inside and at peace. I then told my friend in the foxhole what just happened to me, that i just got baptised in the Holy Ghost. He said I'm getting outta here and they can put someone else in here with your crazy self. To understand visually how powerful this experience is ,check out utube video, Star Trek a new life form, its the closest thing i could find to express the magnitude of this born again experience and being united with Jesus.

There's another miracle nobody's mentioned yet.... near the end of the video, that woman in the green dress is singing with a live wireless microphone in hand while laying her hand on the sopping wet woman still standing in the water. It's a miracle she didn't get electrocuted, because normally that's a pretty dumb thing to do! Live microphones and water don't mix well!
Our sins are not left in the water as they said in this video but after being baptized in Jesus name as a true believer and having truly repented, then Jesus will send the bsptism of the Holy Ghost in a rushing mighty wind that will remove your sins when he flows through you, the Spirit takes them through space and time and baptizes them on Jesus on the cross. Jesus received the baptism of the Holy Ghost for the imputing of sin on the cross and then died for them in our place, their is no washing them off into earthly water that is a lie. Water baptism in Jesus name is an act of obedience that Jesus gave us to do to prove that we love him, water baptism is our marriage ceramony to Jesus and we legally receive his family name as every good bride receives her husbands family name, then the honeymoon experience happens when the baptism of the Holy Ghost comes, when you will shake and tremble like in an earthquake under thr power of God and will hear and experience a supernatural wind from Heaven that flows through you, i also saw stars falling from Heaven and shook like in an earthquake and i wanted to scream for joy and i became solidified, chrystalized in the Spirit realm, no longer a cloud blown about by every wind of doctrine.

So water washes away your sins not the blood of Jesus?
You said that baptism is necessary for salvation, but what about the sinner on the cross with Jesus? He wasn't baptized, but his sin was forgiven by the Son.
The baptism is necessary if you have the time to do it, for sure. If you don't have the time and if you really give your heart to Jesus, and if you believe in him and repent for your sins: you will be saved, YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. It's really nice isnt'it ?
Since nobody has posted the correct answer for Lemons19902010, four months since the question was asked, i'll answer it myself!
In the Bible, The gospel of John, chapter 1, its written that John the Baptist came baptizing with water. Even Baptized the Lord himself, because Jesus said it "becometh us to fulfill all righteousness." (Matthew 3:15.) Quick point here, if Jesus Himself had to be baptized, and He was SINLESS, so does everyone else for sure, because everyone else is certainly NOT sinless.
Jesus taught a man named Nicodemus in John 3:5 that "except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God."
Jesus in Matthew 28:19 commanded that the apostles were to go and "teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost." Everywhere you see a baptism take place in the Bible after that, it's always done in the Name of Jesus. Because Peter, in Matthew 16, was given the keys of the kingdom, and he knew what the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost was and is. (See Matthew 16:13-19).
He preached it to the people in Jerusalem, and this is what he said to do: "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." That's Acts 2:38, but read the entire chapter for a good understanding of what was going on. Hope this helped.
