I agree, this was one of the best greymane games I've ever watched. It was exciting to see you keep the rage under wraps, only to let it out at the right moment. I love it when character lore matches the mechanics.
I've never played Greymane in my life, but at 21:30 I fully understood what it meant to have Greymane Syndrome.
To this day probably one of my favorite moments on TH-cam was the part near the end of “I have Greymane Syndrome” where you can see the crumbling will of his soul to Greymane Syndrome.
Greymane + Li Ming must be one of the scariest things in this game

I was the Mei for this game and I was sorta riding the thought of being in his Greymane video :) Thanks to both you and Pally for the compliments on my gameplay!
You can tell from the color of the payload and the circle around it: while Xul was inside the Maw, your team was pushing the payload! But since it moves on a rail, and the Maw is an obstacle, it could not get to the point! It still feels kinda BS, but at least is BS that is consistent with other game rules. (unlike Qhira's D, which goes through Tassadar's Force Wall, even though Force Wall counts as an obstacle to things like Diablo's Charge. Blizzard please fix inconsistencies)

Its great to see paitents of the greymane syndrome recover, though i do feel like its permanent, yet one can control the symptoms with proper training and it gives hope to the rest of us whos not quite there yet.
After all these years I still enjoy watching MFP play heroes of the storm. Havent played in years.

18:12 Sylvanas becomes invulnerable when she travels in Banshee form, she used the spell right before you used ''go for the throat'' its also a great way to dodge important abilities like KT's Pyro and Chromies temporal loop if you time it right
Doesn't work against pyro. It just makes you unstoppable.

Really nice work Pally! I've been trying to git gud at Greymane and Alarak recently and it's so tough resisting the symptoms of Greymane Syndrome.

So this was probably one of the higher level QM games you've put up. Extremely solid play from the Alarak, Tassadar, Murky, and Li-Ming on top of your own laudably restrained efforts.
Zagara was definitely feeding the whole time.
Xul was feeding too, hilariously. Xul has maxed out mastery ring, too. Just for show, eh?

I remember one thing about gmane ult. His ult used to reset your e cooldown if you shapeshift with it.

Pretty sure that Xul in The Maw/Stasis was working properly but The Maw itself was blocking the Payloads pathing preventing it for moving forward.
22-5 now following you builds. I've always been a potion guy and this is fun but it makes me feel much more exposed. I'm a better ranged assassin player than melee so I'm gonna stick with potion in the future

I mean... After SC2, he's not entirely wrong. They made a ton of Protoss look painfully similar besides the named characters. The only main distinction left now is whether they're Daelaam or Nharazim or Tal'darim. It's a shame, because there used to be a lot more variety within the former two factions.

on that last objective I don't thing he was contesting it I think the maw was blocking the cart, if you look the ring was blue showing that you had it but the maw was right on top of where it needed to go stopping it from moving
Yeah this is why I love greymane. Even if you build for full ranges you can still do respectable worsen damage.

Greymane's development in the meta has always been interesting. I do remember DW release and every game had Greymane.

Greymane is potentially tied in a three way fight with Johanna and Deathwing for my least favorite heroes to play. This was a great way of changing my mind. Greymane's lack of sustain when paired well with good/strong instincts might make him worthwhile imo.

It was a good Greymane game! Personally, I go for full GFT resets at 20 just fpr the multikill dream potential. Still though, while you played a good game, the best ones to watch are the back and forth games or surprising comebacks, and this one was kind of a stomp from your end. Ofc, as a content creator, you have no control over this (as you don't strike me as the kind of person who would hold back while winning just to make things more exciting), but GM is a very 'all in' character and it seems like you either win hard or lose hard.
I disagree there. The best ones to watch are the ones where Pally is excited or salty. In super back and forth games he tends to focus so hard on the game that the commentary might suffer at times. Here he had a good game with actual teamwork for once (and on both sides!), and it wasn't really that onesided of a game either imo. Both sides had great plays and opportunities and XP stayed fairly even throughout the game.

They would have to completely rework and rebalance Greymane to give him self-healing. Otherwise he'd be completely busted. He does an absurd amount of damage.

how could you not talk about Greymane's incendairy elixir change? that talent used to make the Q not have to hit an initial target to make it explode. and Q build was the GO TO build until it was changed.
If you omit the Li-ming Orb talent that sucked in enemies hit to make Q's easier to hit, i'll be sad monka

Well now I want to see another Greymane game without the Greymane syndrome from Pally and him just overall having fun with the character he always feels iffy on.

They need to give him lifesteal, even if it's like 2-3% for basic attacks which would be increase based on level, and more armor, he's so squishy.

They would need to completely rebalance/rework him to give him self-healing. The damage he can put out right now is absurd. Giving him self-healing would make him busted.
