Such a beautiful bird. I love her colouring. Instead of being an annoyance that male bird should get off its duff and start bringing food so that she can keep incubating. After having no food for 3 (?) days, she had to leave her eggs to search for food for herself. Hope she doesn't have to go too far. Maybe he'd like to be a stepdad. I've seen this happen on 2 peregrine nests where the male mates went missing and a bald eagle's nest where the female went missing after being injured and another female showed up offering to incubate the eggs. I'd love to hope but after watching the disappointing males this year . . ..
