Thanks for watching! and big shoutout to Alec Coutinho (@aleccoutinho on instagram) for assisting with the filming of this video. He went crazy. Give him a follow.
I’d recommend the whoop band for tracking everything. I rotate watches daily and rarely use my watch ultra since using the whoop.

Holy s*it I can relate to that father situation. We have a 3-month old, full-on sleep regression mode, it's been tough. However, I keep wearing my watch just to laugh at the results every morning. I actually tried to stop tracking my sleep but I kept wearing the watch because it's the easiest way to determine if the baby is hungry during night or we should try to make him go back to sleep. After a while, I said screw it and went back to tracking my sleep. It just doesn't matter at this point :D The truth of the matter is I look at the watch like 50x more than I used to. I always check how long he's been asleep, how long I've been trying to get him to sleep, how long it's been since the last feeding/diaper, etc., it's a never ending time-checking cycle. So I can totally relate to actually giving up on that and just letting my watch battery to die. Just as I'm typing it, it's actually making a lot of sense...
I keep a 27mm 1.8 on my Fuji. Which stays in my car. My Nikon is almost always my 40mm f2. Both set ups are small enough to fit in most of my hoodie or jacket pockets when I need to conceal them. When I go hiking my 24-200 f4. I saw an amazing 10mm Z mount that my husband is trying to convince me to get. Mainly so he can use it. Several people have suggested I make Reels out of my photo a day using my weekly theme. Maybe I will.
Haha he has good taste, one thing I still have never used with the Leica is a telephoto but I’m going to Iceland this summer so I may have to rent one. I prefer the simple setup also that’s why it’s very rare all these things come out on a single day with me. The video component makes everything more complicated. And I think the reel would be cool when you have time, given that it’s not the “standard” setup people are used to seeing
No i keep it simple by never over packing. So if it’s a video day and I’m doing photos I’ll bring the LUMIX and one other camera. If it’s the sl2 I share lenses with the 2 cameras. If it Fuji or Q2 i just use the small lenses seen in this video (q2 is a fixed lens, and Fuji I only use the small 18mm) I used to be that person who tried to juggle a bunch and it never works. So now I try to simplify the video and photo combo by bringing what I bring and just making it work
EDC definetly has different vibes on the Americas compared to the rest of the world. You guys haul a lot around. Maybe it's because your society is designed around cars, so you can afford to carry a few more options. In Europe I'm here trying to decide what I'm bringing between my Ricoh GRIII, my Walkman, and my wallet. 😂
Genuinely, I don't ever see photographers carrying around this much unless it's a professional shoot for a client. I think people on TH-cam are just excessive. Even if I bring multiple cameras, it all fits in a small vintage Kodak camera bag I can sling over my shoulder. And I only really bring multiple cameras if I'm shooting both digital and film
You're right about the car being a big part of it. I live in NYC and my daily carry is a credit card, a small phone, and a first gen Q. I see other photographers around the city every day. They rarely have more than a 3L style sling. Most of the time it's just a wrist strapped rangefinder style body.
If your having problems sleeping try a glass of warm milk. That's what my mom would give be as a kid. Also try the Carnivore Diet. I do just beef and eggs. Some people dream a lot on the Carnivore Diet. The saturated fats light up the brain. Watch Shawn Baker, Joe Rogan about the Carnivore Diet. I had one dream I got a new SUV and I was rally racing and driving like 100 miles in the snow. It was crazy like a video game.

Been following your journey for years, Evan. You inspired me to buy my first proper camera and get outdoors a bit more 🙏
Thanks! Can’t wait for spring cause getting outside more to shoot is my plan. Thanks for watching and supporting!
My two Lowepro bags have lasted 10 and 15 years each, and still look new!

@@RanftEvan It's a company called Laowa and I don't know enough about it. They make an L mount
The lowepro bag I've had mine for like 10 years!
It’s a TANK!
Looking forward to more xpro3 videos
When you record talking headshots with that sort of mic, do you record audio directly to the camera or on a device and sync later ?
You are still a great inspiration for all of us!
Means a lot, thank you!
another banger from the Ranft
No portable SSDs? Which would you recommend?
Don’t you find it hard at times to change between three different systems when shooting photos or recording videos?

May I ask what lenses do you use on your x-pro3, and why? Thanks
Nice. How did you attach the action camera to camera?
Well, Leica released the SL3. I will wait for a video of this
Did you put EDC 2024 because the festival line up comes out today?!?
was expecting footy from Electric Daisy Carnival :(
How did you attach the action camera to camera? :)

@@SourPlanet 💯 I rarely see people walking with backpacks anymore. Light sling, maybe a hip pack, or wear a jacket just for the pockets. 😂
NiSi makes better filters than Polar Pro, just FYI
Really wish you had gone for XH2S instead of Lumix as Fujifilm camera suits you better, but I guess Lumix fits in well with the Leica L mount
