Jungkook joined bighit on 2011 when he was 14 yrs old (15 in korean age),
He was on middle school back then n graduated on 2013 (16 yrsold). He even did small congratulations song with jhope (who just graduated high school at that time) and jimin (jimin still on highschool). Its called Graduation Song. Not long after, Jimin n v dropped a song called Graduation Song pt.2 for v n jimin graduated.
But bighit had to hold on Jungkook's high school registration on 2013 for a year because BTS was just debut n his schedule was so tight.
After a year, on 2014, jungkook registered highschool n the video where jk wore orange school uniform. That was the video of him at the first day of high school. And he graduated from high school on 2017.

They all dance but there are three main dancers (jhope jimin and jungkook. occasionally taehyung. the others are great dancers buy they don't specialize in it. Jin, Namjoon, and Suga haven't been to school for dance like the dance line

1)Yes, RM is in fact the cutest and nicest person who has existed. And anyone who thinks otherwise lick my what sorry
2) 9:15 if you think that is the most savage lyrics ever girl you have NO IDEA. A month ago he dropped his second Mixtape D-2 and yeah he didn't hold back. Search for " Agust D Daechwita " , that is a brand new Music video, it recruited a lot of new Armys. He has a very eloquent way of calling everyone out on their BS but without actually dropping a single name like the King he is. But seriously check the video out. The song is a banger.
3)Yes Suga writes a lot, He and RM are the lead songwriters for BTS
4)Yes Hobi is pure sunshine and good times but he also takes what he does very seriously. When touring and they are away from their regular dance director, he is responsible for running the dance rehearsals. RM said that if he were to ever step down as leader, Hobi would be his replacement.
5) You will soon find out there is something called The Jimin Effect and almost no-one is immune to it. Please refer to Urban Dictionary for a full definition. But essentially, The Jimin Effect doesn't discriminate against any age, race, sexuality, or gender identity. Even if he isn't your bias, I 100% guarantee you he will bias-wreck you at some point. It's quite perplexing. The boy is very androgynous, but masculine sexuality oozes out of every pore on his body on stage, but in a millisecond he turns into the most precious cutie ball of cute with no warning whatsoever and it DRIVES THE PEOPLE CRAZY. It hurts to think about it too hard so just accept it and enjoy. Unfortunately/fortunately, no amount of time passing will make it any less shocking.
6) Yes V is the most beautiful man any of us have ever seen, he has even won awards for it? Them genetic are on point. But seriously, so many other Kpop idols look up to him as a performer because he is a mood setter without doing much at all on stage. Newer groups study him when they are trainees. Watch his face during live performances, he draws people in. Also this is controversial but I personally think he has the best vocals in BTS (I'm OT7 ya'll don't come for me). He doesn't really have a music background before BTS, and over the years, every album they release his voice just keeps getting better and better and its getting to a point where it is absolutely ridiculous and he needs to stop making the rest of us feel like talentless potatoes its too much.
7)Yes they are all dancers now - RM, Suga, Jin, and V had no dance experience before BTS. JK only a little. In the Kpop world, "Dance Line" refers to the members who are maybe just a little bit better at dancing than everyone else, and they ofter are in the front and center of dance formations. The more you watch with will notice that Jin, RM and Suga are usually in the back. Even though those 3 can still dance better than 99.9% of us. V was promoted to a Dance Line member in 2018. Some people like to argue it because he can't freestyle well and sometimes he's a little lazy and sloppy. But he has gotten soooooooo much better and can hold it down for sure. When he is On he is f***ing *ON*
8)Besides "Dance Line", you are going to hear these terms a lot and I suggest you familiarize yourselves so more things make sense - Debute, Trainee, Hyung, Maknae, Rap Line, Vocal Line, Hyung Line, Maknae Line and there are more that I can't think of just right now but thats a start.
9) Jungkooks names is pronounced like "Jung -goo " - a lot of English speakers just call him JK, which he even calls himself a lot. As well as the other members. Everyone is used to the mispronunciation, including him but just FYI
10) 26:33 DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THEIR REACTION TO THEM WINNING THIS AWARD. DONT DO IT. It was a HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE deal that they won, it was kind if like a defining moment in BTS/Army history and that clip gets me every time tears everywhere stop
11) Time to react to some music videos now - I suggest the non-storyline ones like DNA, Boy With Luv, Mic Drop, On (Kinietic Manifesto), or Black Swan
12) Ignore all recommendations to react to MMA 2019 or MAMA 2019 performances. They are epic, they were earth shattering for us, but most of it wont make sense/wont have the right impact on you if you aren't familiar with them, their journey, and their older songs. Some reactors give in and watch them before they are ready and yes they are blown away by the magnitude of it but the ones who wait are left speechless/sometimes even cry. Just be patient Baby Army.
13) Nobodies to Legends 2019 is a really good next documentary style video to react to. Its only 10 minutes long but its impactful and it's the best introduction to BTS for Baby Armys in my humble opinion.
14) .... This is also very controversial and I am going to get a lot of hate for saying this ... but honestly the Storyline ..... meh. Just watch the music videos and enjoy them for that they are. The storyline is kind of convoluted and complex in my opinion and not necessary to follow to enjoy the videos and music. If you want to go down the road by all means do it i'll still watch. It's just a fictional storyline that kind of goes throughout some of the music videos and you really need to dig deep and look for all the tiny clues to make it make sense and then watch 100 "explained" videos at the very end. of it. Personally I like to spend my time on the "real" BTS. But thats just me 🤷🏻♀️(Oh boy I am going to be read for fifth for putting that out there IM SORRY ITS JUST MY HONEST OPINION AND THE UNSPOKEN OPINION OF A LOT OF OTHER ARMYS I KNOW.)

You basically just said half of what was going on in my head while watching this and reading the comments!! But I personally love the storyline.... though i do understand why some people might not, it is kind of complicated but I am a reader so I am used to that I guess...
I know you just said your opinion but plz don't discourage them from reacting to the storyline. It might not be "the real bts" but it's a masterpiece and it's worth watching in order and enjoying. Yes it's depressing but that's just real life. And you shouldn't call it boring just bc you found it that way, so many of us love watching people react to it and find the small things and clues. It's very exciting and beautiful and we love to see it.
Woah! This comment is everything! I agree with everything you said, except about the storyline. But I get where you're coming from. Up until a few months ago, I too barely paid any attention to the storyline even though I've been an Army for nearly two years. But when I finally got into it, it just blew me away. I thought it was was just like a plot happening in the mvs, but the emotional depth caught me off guard. Like, it's impressive how much they were able to convey through those notes and webtoon. But I definitely agree that it's a bad idea to recommend the storyline to baby Armys. They should get to know bts themselves at a deeper level before delving into it. That way the story has more of an impact.

This introduction is quite outdated and all of the members have change in a number of ways
There is a specific story arc in their videos. Some are clearly connected, some are loosely connected and just a bit...thematically different, some seem unconnected, but tease certain imagery, and some are just plain stand alone, self contained videos...oh and they also make short films.
We call the whole thing BTS Universe. It’s confusing as hell and they never outright say what anything means because art should be left open to interpretation...also they say ARMYs come up with better theories than they could ever imagine 😝 There’s infinite reasons to stan BTS, but the storylines and conspiracy theories. Their videos alone are a deep dark rabbit hole! Especially since they reference a lot of literature and contemporary art work and will dead-ass have a word scribbled on a wall in the background of a music video only to make an entire song out of it 4 years later. That’s the kind of shot they pull. It’s like a giant puzzle that fans enjoy spending time trying to put together together. ...or like me: do minimal research and make up my own stories. Then watch videos of theorist armies and marvel at how smart they are, but take everything with a grain of salt and not as the one true interpretation.
If you’re interested in joining this roller coaster ride start at their 2015 song “I Need U” make sure to do the original 19+ version for the unedited video. It’s important.

- Korean age is different from international age because Koreans consider a newborn as 1 year old, and EVERY Korean gains another year of age every new year's day - we do celebrate the actual birth DAY as well, but we don't treat it as the day we age up - for example, V was born December 30th - he was 2 years old 2 days after his birth because he was 1 at birth, then 2 on new year's day

My bias is Suga (Yoongi) and my bias wrecker is Jin, I just adore their humor, they all have amazing humor lol. Please love all seven of them, they are so incredibly talented, hardworking and humble 💜 A.R.M.Y stands for ‘Adorable Representative M.C for Youth’, there are a lot of people that don’t know that. Their actual name in hangul (korean) is Bangtan Sonyeondan, BTS for short, which translates to Bulletproof Boyscouts. There so much content you can watch, on their TH-cam channel (BangtanTV) you can watch BTS bombs, lots of behind the scenes content, dance practices, vlogs. They have 4 seasons of a show named Bon Voyage where they travel. They have a show on VLive (an app where they also make live broadcasts) name Run BTS, they have over 100 episodes. The content is never ending lol, but those are the basics, they also have three movies and three docu-series. Most of their content is free, except for Bon Voyage, movies and docu-series. Keep yourselves busy during quarantine lol

uh your skin and makeup? gorgeous flawless radiant glowing. you guyyyyys you're going to fall in love so hard with bts the more you watch, honestly they're irresistible. as for the video storyline, it also coincides with a webtoon that sort of fills in missing pieces but BEWARE!!!!! if you wanted to cry seeing them cry or be hard on themselves ... the whole concept behind their story is just ... augh, it's tear-jerking, but so good. also! when you dive into that, if you do, xceleste has some explanation videos and theory videos on it that can help put it together. also also! there is at least one korean youtuber (the account name/names escape me) that has explanation videos for international fans for certain songs/videos that deal more with korea-specific stuff. "Baepsae" (which is a JAM and you should watch the dance practice video) and Suga's latest solo as Agust D, "Daechwita" are the first two that come to mind. it's so fun to watch you guys start your bts journey!

Honestly, most of time people think that Army got into BTS because of their visual and popularity. If they really take the time to learn about BTS, they will realize that visual isn’t it that makes Army love BTS so much but everything about them - music, positive message, BTS as a human being, personality, talent, hard work, hardships and so on - that hold Army’s heart and cherish them so much.

my bias is jungkook too 💜✨ and also he's the most athletic person in the group. also jimin isnt hard on himself now. he couldnt sing in one concert bc of his throat pain and he felt so sorry for the fans he couldnt perform and was really emotional but he stated in break the silence docu series tho he was really sad he couldnt perfrom he kept on telling army he'll do better the next time in his head without blaming himself like the past days. 💜

Thank you ladies for checking on them..I assure you, you will love them. You will laugh with them(crackheads AF), you will sing with them(lyrical geniuses), you will cry with them( they make songs dedicated for ARMY ), and you will love life and yourselves with them(motivational speeches and campaigns). Basically they are part of my lifestyle now. I am 42 years old, but I admire them for those reasons. I would not be surprised you will cry in a lot of their songs and music videos. Hold on tight for this ride.
thank you so much for such an open minded reaction. you both are so kind and funny and beautiful! i would like to point out one small thing that happens quite often when people start to learn about BTS. it’s the whole “grumpy suga” thing. often times people go into stanning bts with the mindset that Suga is very introverted and scary. While yes, he is introverted he is in no way way scary (unless he’s performing/rapping and even then he has duality) he is one of the kindest and generous people and constantly shows love to the fans and his members. He honestly is so amazing. Also to make you cheer up a bit Jimin has grown so much from who he was before and though he is still a bit hard on himself, he has gotten a lot better at not letting small mistakes getting to him and he has said that he is continuing to grow from who he was. In general all of these boys hold so many different sides to them each and every one of them are talented and beautiful. they all love and care for each other in a way that no one could ever understand and their bond is so strong. BTS and ARMY also have one of the strongest bonds as fans and artists. we have said many times that this is a family and BTS is our home. We love to show our love for them in many different ways such as projects for their concerts or birthdays, matching donations, fundraising and donating to different organizations to push their message of positivity. The love between ARMY and BTS is honestly unfathomable and it’s so amazing to walk beside them. RM once said “i love you more than love” and that truly represents our feeling for each other. it’s a strong bond that we have. I’m so happy that you guys have discovered them and don’t worry about when you found them. You found them when you needed them the most. i really hope that you guys continue to enjoy their content.
