Nicely done Tom. You educated us well on how to calibrate a Haimer! Wish I had the German language as fluently as you have done it here in English. Well done! Looking forward to seeing you on your next video. Best.
More English videos, i am from Argentina and English is a good way to learn from you. You are very easy to understand. Simple and efective. Thanks, awasome vídeo
I bought very similar 3d Edge Finder from alliexpress and because this simple short video I have understand in a minute how it works and what is all about concentricity after changing the end of the tool Very useful movie Regards
thank you ❤ you know "TTSE" stands for "Tries To Speak English" i planned this channel to also improve my technical english, but then life came inbetween.
Thanks for your sharing. For the 3D edge finder I have a question if you can help me. When I use 8mm tip on the probe, the indicator will show what number to tell me its the work edge? i know when the tip is 4mm the indicator shows 0 to identify work edge. Your help will be highly appreciated
There is also 4 Allen screws in a x pattern behind the dial that can adjust where the big hand starts. Instead of moving the dial it will be at 12 o’clock and u can c alienate it that way. I like my hand at 12 o’clock
6:34 its mean your zero is there just 2 turn 2mm xD easy, but is fine you can rezero it looks better. and recalibrate again when use another machine with different cone or remove it from that holder you need calibrate again it wont go straight and centric

Thank you Tom. Awesome guide.
At 3:30, you are wondering about the English name. it's a Dial Test indicator. Other than that, your English is lovely. Good video.

Hi,
the 8mm version works the same.
it has double the length and therefore travels 4mm.
the indicator must also show zero.

if it's not around 12 o'clock, your edge finder had some issue in the past

Yes. Even when you change the tip, you have to check the concentricity
