Park Bom was originally meant to feature in the song, but during the recording process (probably a clip somewhere on TH-cam), GD wasn't feeling it and so he sang the chorus himself and had her feature in 'Oh Yeah' instead. Do check that one out as well ^^ 😀
They had to eliminate the music video from the main channel of BigBang because they used the bunny of Play Boy so they (Play Boy) threat YG with a lawsuit if they didn't eliminate it.

This was released back in 2010 but they had to take down the original video b/c the logo looked too similar to the playboy bunny. If I remember correctly, they also had to change the cover of their physical album for the same reason (yes, there's a whole GD & TOP album)

AYYYYY GD AND TOP!!! first kpop subunit !! first rap subunit! that album is gold. I would say the translation is not accurate, because it was translated from chinese translation. half gd&top artistry is in the lyrics, they did wordplay, pun and a lot of metaphor it's crazy.
even in 2010 top's said "all the youths are copying me", they know it. and even in 2010, bigbang was already followed by a lot of scandal that's why gd line "all my scandals, wait for me" is iconic.
As much as I love Big Bang, GD and TOP aren't the first Kpop subunit, it was either Sistar19 or SuperJunior that had the subunit concept, mainly leaning toward SISTAR

The Knock Out video was set to private because their collab logo's silhouette looked like the Playboy bunny. But it was actually a fist with a tied handkerchief. G-Dragon popularised that trend before.
GD&T.O.P's album is one of my favorite kpop releases...every song on that album was a bop. I'd highly recommend listening to the whole album when you have time!

The fact they aren't thirsty for western collabs speaks volumes.. Artists recognize them as artists, not a kpop sensation and they are head of it's time.

For this album and promotions they used logos that looked like the Playboy bunny and got in copyright trouble with Playboy. I think that’s why the MV was taken down. The album cover had to be changed too.

This was the first kpop MV with white girls, and the first kpop song banned from Korean television... lol they were told to change some of the lyrics if they wanted to perform the song on music shows, but GD&TOP and YG refused.

GD/TOP was a HUGE hiphop subunit, which really cemented the hiphop elemented in kpop. Notice how it sounds similar to Bubble Butt, and I think GD/TOP were in the remix for that reason. Ludacris saw this video way back, and immediately commented that 'that guy' (GD) 'is a star'.
At first listen I didnt like this, but it grew on me.

Hiii Dezzy, i wanted to recommend you a new kband called Lucy (루시). The band consists of Choe Sangyeob (vocalist and guitarist) Jo Wonsang (bassist, producer and vocalist, he does a lot of the harmonies) Shin Yechan (violinist) and Shin Kwangil (drummer and vocalist). Please check them out, they've just debuted last month with "Flowering", which is such a beautiful song but you should check out "Snooze" too. I love your reaction vids, keep going!

Ohh Dezzy when you have time watch them perform this live They did this at MAMA 2010 Taeyang sung first than GD and TOP and they end up singing Hallelujah the 3 of them. God what a show!!! And there is more recent performance the version they sung during 2015 Japan Tour X . Vocalists had a talking with fans moment and GD and Top were waiting in one of the stage elevators to go next and sing but the other 3 just kept talking and after like 30 min they put their heads out and scolded them haha They finaly chase the vocalists and did one of the best versions of this song. See all the Japan Tour X at home man or any live from them because no one can perform on stage like BigBang
