I LOVE THIS PATTERN!!! And it is SO easy to follow!!!!!! I was kind of nervous to try such a complicated top, but she explained it so well. This has got to be the best tutorial ive ever used. AMAZING CONTENT!!!!!❤❤🎉🎉🎉
I used to always wish I had a larger chest, but when it comes to things like this I'm glad I don't. It makes my projects so much quicker and easier! Lol this is so cute I'm def gonna try making one
Last night I was following this tut, Was halfway through and left it for the night. When I woke up the video was removed and I almost cried. Very nice tutorial!!! ♥️
I did the row 9 - 11 a few more time to fit my bossom. One-size-fits-all sounds great, but If you have a D cup you NEED to make this a bit bigger, else the little "stairs" going down is starting at the middle of your breast, and we need that covered. I did an additional 6 rows (so I continue from 9 to 17). It's important to go in pairs of 2 if you want to increase to keep track of this tutorial. This is the part where you can really add length to increase the size, after that it's getting smaller and smaller, also don't sweat if your top row on the big wings isn't the 5/4 ratio. Mine had 4/4 and that works just as well.
Thank you! I definitely will not for this example and haven't found many tutorials of how to make this plus size. I am gonna try to take you advice here and see if it works. I am pretty intermediate so I'm confident I can get it seeing your comment!
I KNEW IT!!!! Ugh thank you so much i was gonna just make it and then see if it fit, I'm so glad I saw this now instead of when I had the first wing done and became frustrated
This project was easy to follow, took less than one skein of yarn so great for using leftover yarn, and I was able to make it in 2 hours and it fits so nice and looks good. I was worried it would be too small on my larger bust but you adding in the coverage at the end made it fit like a glove!
Can I asked what yarn you used so it came out as only one skein? Not the biggest fan of using double like she did and I wonder what weight yours was since I also have some leftovers I might use 😊
The chain of 250 nearly sent me over the edge momma 😔 i cant heckin count But this is such an amazing tutorial and I love you for being such a patient considerate teacher!
I just finished half of the top in about 3 hours (I made a mistake with counting rows and made the wing upside down, haha). It has been super easy to follow so far! I cannot wait to finish the other half!
For anyone trying to make the top smaller! I'm a UK size 8 and a 32B, and these adjustments made it fit perfectly: -I used a 3.5mm hook instead of a 4mm hook Upper wings: -Do rows 1 to 10 as normal -Skip rows 11 and 12 -Do rows 13 and onwards as normal Lower wings: -Keep the same When tying the top at the end: -Loop through the upper wings as normal and tie tight, this is your boob support -Don't loop through the lower wings as it makes the strings looser -Add a tightening tie between rows 2 as shown in the video (I didn't do another but you can to make it fit) Hope this helps
QUESTION, since you skip rows 11-12, does that mean you end up with less DC on row 18? In the video she says she ends with 5DC on row 18, but I also skipped rows 11-12 and ended with 3DC on row 18, not 5
@@spicypiscesqueenhi! It’s not a dumb question. I had the same thing happen to me as well! So now my 16th row match her 18th row perfectly! Thank you for that😊
I've never commented on a video before but I can't keep quiet after seeing this. Thank you very much, I made mine with red color and it came out so beautiful, all thanks to you.
gonna try making it using a few colors, update later❤ update: it turned out AMAZING, i used lilac, pink and a bit of white, it looks so good, i had to stitch it up a bit cause i have a small chest but its so nice. And the tutorial was very easy to follow for me so i really appreciate that!❤
I’ve been crocheting for decades now and I’ve given up on watching videos they always have something wrong can see or just confusing but you truly are doing amazing at making these videos please never stop❤
Made this top for my daughter and as a very beginner crocheter this was soooo easy to follow. I looked at a few different videos of similar design before settling on this one. I did have to watch at .5 speed but that is due to my (lack of) skillset haha. Wonderful tutorial and my daughter loves the top ♥
just finished it and i even made the wings bicolour and it looks AMAZING!! your tutorial was perfect for someone at beginner level like me thank you so so so much
One of the best crochet video tutorials I have ever seen!!! Not only did I learn how to make the top, but I feel like my general crochet knowledge grew a lot on this project. Thank you for the video!! Your voice is so soothing lol
@@lilypacetti9660i think the sizing also depends on what hook and yarn you use because I used a 4mm crochet hook a weight 4 acrylic yarn and it’s way smaller so 🤷♀️
This is one of the best crochet tutorials ive ever seen! I'd never made a piece of clothing, just amigurumi, and this was so easy, so fast and turned out perfect. I also added some extra rows on the wings so i worked up to round 15 repeating row 9. This top also doesnt use very much yarn at all i was able to make it with less than one skein! Thank you thank you!!
I just finished this top and it’s amazing! Thank you so much for this tutorial! I used a 4 mm hook and a multicoloured weight 3 yarn and it worked perfectly for my size! Thank you ❤❤
This is by far THE BEST tutorial I have ever come across on youtube, just finished my first one. Next step is to make it smaller in size and add sequins. Thank you so much for sharing Shyler, you are a crochet goddess
Beyond easy to follow, thank you so much! I am my biggest critic and don’t tend to take pride in my work but I feel so confident after this top! You’re amazing thank you!
I started this and realized for the top/big wing, I did it UPSIDE DOWN…how did I manage that…very very unsure 😂 I fixed it tho and I redid the entire body too cause I wanted to use a smaller hook than what she was using since I like the spacing between my double crochet to be tighter (if that makes sense)..lovely tutorial!! I appreciated that you spoke out exactly what you were doing as you were working on the exact thing you’re crocheting!! Super easy tutorial !! Loved this !! Thank you !
THANK YOU SO MUCH for this tutorial. Everything is very clear and you have a pleasant voice. I don't think I'll wear this top anywhere, but it was fun to knit🧸💮💐
Yayyy!! I finished this top in like 3 nights :) *Shyler crochets* You must be the fastest crocheter I have ever seen haha. You explained everything so well. I love that you showed where you put your yarn in, because some people just show it and you kind of have to fend for yourself because it isn’t clear enough. But you made such a good tutorial. Amazing work! I hope you are well and thank you for this video! ❤🩵
I am a DD now after my firstborn… i tried it on without the ties in the middle and I was just too droopy 😭 does having the ties help to hold it in place?
I do absolutely love the pattern!! The result is gorgeous❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥. It was so easy and comfortable to make. I love your accent and those quiet sounds of kids on the background:)
before doing the decreases at row 12 if you think it it wont cover don't do them yet keep doing increases until it mostly covers then start the decreases
I just finished the project and it looks amazing and true to its Full coverage you make such good tops and there so easy to follow you also put a lot of work into it
Hey I want to do this too and I'm wondering if you have to double the yarn or not and if it begginer friendly ( it's my first project but really like that top)
Thank you for the tutorial pattern. I loved the finished top , however please could you slow down ,I found it hard to keep up ,I had to rewind soooo many times . Also you need to show us what your step by step instructions are . You've obviously made this top many many many times , we haven't!! . Looking forward to making this top again but slower so I get a better finish result. X
Thanks for this, i really appreciate, I was able to make one in few hours with your video but I think you should have stated what size it can fit(in terms of bust) and how many we can add to increase for a larger bust😢 Just finished making it and now it can’t even enter half of my client’s bust and I feel really sad 😢
I love this top! My daughter asked for one and this tutorial is great! What size does this exact pattern you are demonstrating turn out to be? Your directions are explained so well! I've looked at others and I find yours to be so detailed! Thank you!
(For me to keep track) Upper wing. Row: slip stitch in second stitch, slip stitch in third stitch. Chain 3. Double crochet in same stitch . Double crochet 2 times in next stitch. Chain 2. Skip ch 2 space, 2 double crochet in first stitch. 1 double in middle stitches. 2 double crochet in last stitch. Chain 2. Skip chain 2 space. Go into first stitch with 2 double crochets and second chain with 2 double crochets. Chain 3 Row 8-11

@@Grimbagel depends on the circumference of the ball, but i used some leftover yarn, which equalled about 1(ish). Id say just 1😁

this is one of the best crochet tutorials i’ve used!!! very easy to follow and thorough! I appreciate the little explanations as well!
For anyone trying to make the top smaller! I'm a UK size 8 and a 32B, and these adjustments made it fit perfectly:
-I used a 3.5mm hook instead of a 4mm hook
Upper wings:
-Do rows 1 to 10 as normal
-Skip rows 11 and 12
-Do rows 13 and onwards as normal
Lower wings:
-Keep the same
When tying the top at the end:
-Loop through the upper wings as normal and tie tight, this is your boob support
-Don't loop through the lower wings as it makes the strings looser
-Add a tightening tie between rows 2 as shown in the video (I didn't do another but you can to make it fit)
Hope this helps
QUESTION, since you skip rows 11-12, does that mean you end up with less DC on row 18?
In the video she says she ends with 5DC on row 18, but I also skipped rows 11-12 and ended with 3DC on row 18, not 5
Sorry if this is a dumb question
