WAKA WAKA- BY Ouma Omore OLD LUO BENGA KING

One of the greatest Luo benga oldies during our time was this man from luoland, OUMA OMORE or Omore tisa of Omore Kings as we used to call him. Waka waka was one of the benga hits of early 80s. I remember my uncle had copy of this vinyl LP. we used to listen to track on his Philips record player whenever we had a family ceremony.It was so fascinating entertaining!. Most of his music is beat arrangement is so similar with that of Charles Omweri of Machoge kings from Kisii. The sweetness of this song is well known to those who were there in mid of 1980's. Through this song, marriages broken, children disobeyed their guardians, students dropped from schools, actually it was a disaster. R.I.P Bernard Ouma Omore. Your work will live forever.
