I was in the Marine Corps then I joined the Army when I got hurt during deployment came back and I use to work their when I was retiring been all through tbat building
I have accumulated 7 books about Patton, including "Fighting Patton---George S. Patton Jr. through the eyes of his enemies." A fascinating man from a very "different" family. Carlo D'Este's biography is, in my opinion, better than the Ladislas Farrago book that the movie was made from. He was in some ways a great general, but he made his share of mistakes.
Hey Yall...WDRB or Fox News was everywhere at the Patton Shrine yesterday. I heard they are having some kind of big parking lot 9/11 party there today? I missed the news yesterday. Is this really true? I'll have to check into that personally I suppose.
Patton was eliminated, he was a Thorn in the side of Truman a none military man , and Patton being a very verbal soldier ,would have stirred the 💩 after the war with criticism’s of politicians etc ! Let’s be honest 99.9 % of people would have survived the accident especially at the speed they were travelling at ! I could be totally wrong, but after Kennedy , the lies of Vietnam , Bobby Kennedy, Martin Luther King , etc etc I don’t have much faith in what the people at the top ,tell me !
When a lot of ex military personnel leave the service, some become politicians and can easily fall into “ The Club “ mentality, keep your nose clean and you can do well ,with all the financial rewards that will come your way. This is why Trump doesn’t fit in , because he wants to rock the boat ,and all those with cushy jobs don’t like him because of that ! Example what has Biden achieved for the American people in 50 years of being in congress, sweet FA , the cost of living through the roof ! What I was getting at , that Patton was a loose cannon and they and the powers that be would rather do without him , hence the parallel with Trump! This is all I have to say on the matter , you believe what you want to , that is what freedom of speech is all about , my thoughts are the other way! Stay happy and healthy , bye!
Russia? Go back and read history. Germany was defeated by the Allied nations which the US supplied most of the logistical support, men, and equipment. Russia wasn't even a country in 1945. Maybe you meant to say the Soviet Union but that would have been just as wrong.
Stalin admitted with out the help of America they would not have made it. He also said the German soldier one on one was a far better soldier than the Russian, check your history it came from Stalin himself.
@@SamLukie America supplied the Soviet Union with $11.3 Billion in lend lease aid, which the Soviets finally paid back $675 Million- 60 years after the war ended.
Patton na not really a that good ov a commander anybody can win battles with overwhelming fire power and men I put him at nearly at the bottom of the list with montgomery
I was at Fort Knox for basic training and had the honor of touring that museum.
Greatest general of all time
One of the greatest.
Surely Not maybe one of the silliest clad one Clown🥱🙄😬
Outstanding!
My hero, and my favorite movie. I've been to the Patton Museum Chiriaco Summit in California.
I have been there also, a very nice and informative place to visit. Seeing a uniform he once wore was very nice
The Patton museum is at Fort Knox Kentucky. I've been there. Awesome museum!
My dad, a Tank Unit commander, had a great opinion of his CO. But he agreed that General Patton “didn’t talk sweet”.
If only we had him today !
He was born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley in Los Angeles California. He was an L.A. native.
Fantastic!
Thank you!
What if he was in Philippines Island during WW2 instead of General Mc Arthur would the outcome be different?
He Was a Big Hero!!!
i wish they would have left it at fort knox kentucky!!!
That's where I saw it.

Patton was of course a hero, but genius and crazy are not far apart for Georg. Old blood and guts.
The audio on this video is terrible. And the music just makes it more difficult to understand what the narrator is saying.
Patton was no druggie, unlike Adolph and Mega Druggie Goering.
George S Patton - Champion & Legend RIP

Always remember, the people at the top always have a secret agenda, and YOU are the tools used to achieve it.

Truman was an artillery officer in WW1. What are you talking about?

"Patton was eliminated" by a drunk driver just like so many people are killed today.
Not everything can be explained by conspiracy nonsense
He knew 'we' had to keep going right into Russia. Politics got in the way. 41C

Russia defeats the Nazis. U.S. takes the credit.
