Nice looking build. I’d probably get the 7700x and for the price difference go with the montech king 95 pro. That and spend $40 more on a montech 360mm AIO. Other than that amazing build and super beautiful and strong.
Brilliant video. At 9.59 you mention, "I've also picked up the PSU cable extensions", but you don't mention exactly WHICH cable extensions you found on Amazon. This wouldn't be my first rodeo building a gaming PC, but I don't want to have a trial-and-error experience either, based on your professional opinion. Please let us know what "cable extensions" you recommend at this point in your video.
I've already ordered the parts to your 1500 build you built a month ago except i upgraded the cpu to a ryzen 7 7700x from a ryzen 5 7600, and kept everything else the same. Is this build far better than your 1500 build?
I bought a 4070 super today and a AMD Ryzen 7 9700x just like the build in the video, should i revert to a AMD Ryzen 7 7800x3D or just keep what i have
If you don't have 3d rendering etc kinda work, the 7900xt delivers better performance than a 4070 super at 650$. Go for that for light editing, and intense gaming
@@muhdanuar6901not really most of the time just repaste thermal paste would be more than enough, but ofc buy used stuff thats good condition, gpus and cpus usually lasts a very long time if treated well
I'm new to Ryzen and I just went back to building after a 5 year hiatus. That made me miss much of ryzen's uprise and I am confused about the RAM. I am highly desiring the gskill tridents since my last intel build was on ddr4 gskills and this is my question: do the gskill models that are not included in the manufacturers compatibility list always mean no go for those? Because what I saw in this video is that you used non-Neo dimms and it works. That said, this question is from the fact that in my country (Philippines) there is a premium on Neo Ram.
Ryzen works with both XMP or EXPO but I would use EXPO. Intel use only XMP. I use Trident Z5 Neo but its not the only AMD ram that works they have several different models. I picked this because its CL30 and 64GB.
no, i would go for anything higher than the intel 12th gen, preferably the i5 13600k. However, I would bet on AMD due to upgradability, stability, and price to performance. The ryzen 5 7600 (x or non x) is an amazing choice. the problem with the 3700k is that it only supports ddr3, and only 32 gb's of ram (which is fine, but for upgradability, its very sub par).
they are getting heavily sold out in the us cause no one likes the 9000 series, everyone who WAS waiting for the 9000 series to beat the 7000 series has now went and bought the 7800x3d so the price increase a lot (over there) in the uk its still normal price

ask your parents to save up money for you, or for them to give you like 30-40 bucks a week (try doing chores or helping around), save for a year or longer and that way you get around 1560 - 2080 bucks and you can get a pc that way when you are around 13 which is perfect bc you HAVE to be at least 13 to start streaming, unless you want to get banned
This is the fifth video I've seen this week alone from big-name content creators around the world trying to sell either the Ryzen 9x00X, or the RTX 4070 Super - or both. To put it bluntly: the Ryzen 9x00X is 1.5% faster than its counterpart, the 7x00X, but at least 5% slower than the 7800X3D. And it is $90 more expensive than its counterpart. In combination with the Ryzen 9x00X, completely unnecessary B650 mainboards are offered, which are intended to reflect the performance requirements for a Ryzen 9x00X. Leave the Ryzen 9x00X series with the overpriced X870 and X870E boards. The market will take care of the rest. Same game with the RTX 4070 Super: we all know that the new 4070 Super will be launched with GDDR6 instead of GDDR6X. Secretly and quietly for those who didn't notice. Because the card is still called 4070 Super. We also know that in UE5 based games with higher resolutions (and using RT + DLSS + FG) 12 GB VRAM is absolutely not enough. NVIDIA has only themselves to blame for this because, unlike AMD, they don't get the memory management right. And NVIDIA has absolutely no interest in solving the low VRAM problem on X060, X070 and X080 cards in the future. Please don't get involved in being the stooges for AMD and NVIDIA to empty the warehouses by giving the community such configurations.
Nope. A 1440p gaming PC you build in late 2024 should be equipped to last through 2026 at least. That means it very likely needs 16GB of VRAM. The 4070 Super might be fine today, but what about the next 24 months' releases? A 7900GRE gives you that 16GB, costs less, and is often faster than the 4070 Super. Software tricks can not make up for being out of VRAM; in fact, they make running out of VRAM happen sooner. And DLSS further exacerbates the issue. Your Nvidia option is to spend another $200 US for a 4070 Ti Super.
Just ordered Amd 5 7600, B650 board, 32 gig 6000 ddr5, Rt 7900gre, 2tb ssd, 850 watt gold power supply for about the same cost 🎉
