Absolutely so happy for John Fogerty getting the rights to his songs and his Celebration Tour!!! Congratulations to you and all who helped with this effort!❤❤❤
While he hasnt had the rights until 2023, he has performed CCR songs for years now. There was one point where he was sued for performing CCR songs and sued because his own music sounded too much like CCR.
Pretty crazy that this guy has been screaming since the 60s and still has his voice...look at some of the guys from the 80s they are done....God bless John fogerty!
Ahhhh Friday at dusk, looking out my balcony (back door) at the sun filtering through the trees surrounding, and listening to this fills me with such joy. Best ‘classroom instruments’ period. I just wish my mom and my sister were still here so they could hear and see this, they would’ve LOVED it as much as I do. ❤️🥹
Real big time right on 😊 😎 👏 John Fogerty can still rock it at 78. He doesn’t even look his age. This is one of the best classroom instruments segments I’ve seen in a long time.
what a joy for the eyes and ears to see that even without electronic instruments my idol John, together with Tyler and Shane Fogerty played very well and sang just as well while having fun with some friends, just like my friends and I did with Lodi. Wonderful person John Fogerty and family
I had all of albums on vinyl, unfortunately I lost everything in a fire yers ago, about five years ago my son bought me record player ,he also got me CCR’S greatest hits on vinyl ,what. treat to hear him .
I have watched this video over and over and can't believe how good John Fogerty sounds. Congrats to him on winning his lawsuit! Kudos to Jimmy showcasing how good Fogerty is and Jimmy looks like he's have so much fun!
I wonder how many younger folks don’t know who Buck Owens is. I noticed John gave him a respect gesture when he sang his name by pointing to the sky. Thanks, Jimmy for this Classroom Instruments segment with the great John Fogerty and the Roots!
This made my day. What a classic and more fun with classroom instruments. I remember my parents would have the radio on and this would play often!!!❤❤❤❤
Awesome! My first memory of music is just this song, as born in 69 with older siblings I grew up with Creedence, and remember as a very young boy that I wanted my sister to play that "Dot dot-song" on their recordplayer. :)
This is the perfect classroom instruments song, james killed the solo

IN 2006 i play as support of Jon Fogerty in Paris, Palais des Congrès with my band Café Bertrand. We were fans but believe me, he was so hard with us "i don't want anybody during the soundcheck" hey man, we play on the same stage ^^ "i don't have any time to give to a support band" and we don't met him so... he was a fantastic gig but a sad meet for us...
@1:04 the way he sings that line "Statue wearing high heels" and just explodes on the word 'statue'. He gives it everything he's got and makes every line interesting. Birlliant. That's how you make a good song great.
Just got home from seeing John and sons rock the crowd in Oklahoma. He did not disappoint, and we ALL had a great time. John’s voice still sounds so good. Hard to believe he’s 78 and been doing this for 64 years. What a treasure!
I always like the "Classroom Instrument" segments. The Roots seem to really dig it, especially Questlove! Also, as I was watching, I thought "Those guys in the middle look like Shane and Tyler." Then Jimmy thanks them, so, yeah, I was right.
I got to see CCR in the late 60's in concert in Miami. We had a rainstorm and it was coming down so hard (as it does in Florida) that no one could leave. So they just kept playing for another hour til the rain let up
Man I’d sure would love to meet John Fogerty and Jimmy Fallon in person and Jam some good time songs. Might bring up Jimmy’s ratings up off the charts😅
This was awesome! Though not a fan of Jimmy Fallon, he’s always been enthusiastic about music & guests like this. John Fogerty & the rest seemed to be having a good time & were up to the challenge. It sounded great!
I saw him at a free concert many years ago put on by Polaris event at the MN State fair. Saw him paly a lot of good tunes including the baseball bat guitar.
Hey, thanks! Rock on! 🤘🏼
you are an Icon worldwide, not just in the US. Greetings from Argentina!
grew up on ccr. John’s voice is iconic.
And he sounds great!!!
right?! heard him in recent concerts on TH-cam before this clip and was amazed he still sounds the same…after all these years! Aloha!
Stills Great John Fogerty
Blessings💕💕💕💕
That song [from the 70s] is STILL so good that it takes the Classroom Instruments' bit to higher level. Fogerty is an American treasure.
Whenever these guys do rock songs with kids instruments like that, it’s always fun to watch. That’s one definitely made me smile
Absolutely so happy for John Fogerty getting the rights to his songs and his Celebration Tour!!! Congratulations to you and all who helped with this effort!❤❤❤
❤❤❤❤ I wish all artists could have this.
While he hasnt had the rights until 2023, he has performed CCR songs for years now. There was one point where he was sued for performing CCR songs and sued because his own music sounded too much like CCR.
It's mind boggling to me that the music industry allows for such an injustice to not be allowed to play songs that YOU wrote
Classroom instruments are my favorite love it John killed this solo it was so iconic.
Best idea ever this classroom instrument segment! Itworkswith anything! Just love it!!!👍👍👍

Fogerty long as I can see the light, one of the best male vocal performances ever for rock.

Lucky man. ❤
CCR is one of the most iconic bands ever. You can play any of their songs and everybody will know it and start dancing.
My all-time favorite musician!

I think he's mellowed out in his later years judging by interviews I've seen/heard.
One of the coolest things I’ve seen in a long while, and I’m a GenX punker ❤
Not just me, but my parents loved CCR!
To bad they didn't get to see or hear John Fogerty made it to the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame ❤️😎👍
Pure class.
John Fogerty is really "American Rock n Roll Cowboy Singer". The best ever🎙🎶🎸🤟

@1:04 the way he sings that line "Statue wearing high heels" and just explodes on the word 'statue'. He gives it everything he's got and makes every line interesting. Birlliant. That's how you make a good song great.
