I arrive on koh rong island, Cambodia, Grab a motorbike and head for the plam beach resort where i check in to a beachside bungalow and prepare to see what this wondereful island has to offer.

G'day, did you find not having air con in your room a problem? Good video.
There is a lot of change happening on this island...other than the snakes, that doesn't change I'm sure. This place will be a mess in another ten years, just as the beaches are on the mainland now, like Otres Beach. Enjoy it while it lasts. The last time I was there, there was one ATM on the island near where all the backpackers stay...unless this is the other Koh Rong Sanloem. Coconut beach is a great chill place to go on Koh Rong.
you are so right. there is still no atms on the island and snakes can be a problem. they are now building an airport and before long this beautiful island will not be the same. thank you for watching.

On the mainland yes, can be a bit dodgy on the islands.
I'm looking to go to Cambodia next year. How do you handle monetary transactions? I know they prefer USD. and perfect bills. How hard is it to get "perfect bills". Or can I use credit/debit cards? I was in Vietnam last year. No problem using Credit cards/Debit cards/ATMs? What can I expect?
I just use atm machines and Monzo card. It gives you the option of currency I go for dollar. If you go to the islands best take cash with you.
