Wow a beautiful landing, when I went to Costa Rica a handful of years back I landed in San Jose I think
This flight was actually an unscheduled detour after taking off from San Jose because of super high winds. We barely felt the wheels when they touched the ground!

I highly recommend that you visit Costa Rica - It is in my top 3 favorite countries (so far).

Glad you enjoyed it. Yes it is (Davinci Resolve). Just started learning/using it - a lot more complex than my previous software but much more powerful. Is that what you use too?

Am I the only one who listened to the flight attendant at the end? Yes, the video was nice and all that but there seems to be a complete disconnect between the video and what the FA had to say. If I (we) understood correctly, this was Not a scheduled stop. Furthermore, the reason for stop seems to have been because of an unruly passager.
Indeed. You are correct in many ways! We were supposed to fly directly to Montreal from San Jose but the winds were too strong and the plane too heavy for those winds (it was a full flight). The pilot told us this had never happened before in his 25 year career. He opted for us to take off from San Jose light on fuel and head to Liberia where we would top up and take off yet again without the winds. One of the passengers was slightly unruly (and, I think, scared that we would crash due his/her misinterpretation of the information) but they managed to contain the situation.
