Erika's tears 😢 i know that feelings too coz am leaving in a forieng country for 18 yrs far from my family. Not able to celebrate those special days with them living away by my self we always missed home. But am happy for u guys and the kids that they are able to celebrate jio's b-day together with Erika's family they experienced party in the Philippines for the first time they are having fun with cousin's and able to hug and cuddle lolo and lola. Merry Christmas erika and Ricky together with the kids and the rest of the family.
Aaww, I cried with you, Erica.. I cried harder when Ricky appreciated your sadness & wanted to make it better, even harder, despite being sad, you’re reassuring him he is your ‘home’.
It happened to my father-in-law’s case. His name is different from what he was using. They just got affidavit of support stating that both names are same person. There were witnesses who signed the paper and notarized it afterwards. He was able to use it and obtain all the necessary documents to come to California. Hope everything will be alright. Nice and loving family Erica. You are such a lucky daughter, mom and wife. Same goes as well with Ricky. God bless you and your family always.
Oh how's touching this episode and what a lovely family on both sides...nakakataba naman ng puso di lang si Ms Erica ang minahal ni Mr Ricky kundi pati whole family at lahat gagawin para sa happiness ng lovely and beautiful wife...God bless Tengkers family

I'm like Erica everytime I go home to the Philiipines, and coming back to US is always a sad moment. It's just more fun in the Philippines, right??? Glad you get to see family and friends!
Silent viewer here, but I need to comment about the birth certificate Its easy to correct now the discrepancy in names and birthdate without going to court hearing You just need to go to the city hall civil registry where the birth certificate where registered after birth and provide all the ID being use that's different from the NSO/PSA.THen the civil registry will forward it tomthe main office of NSO/PSA ,and your birth certificate will be annotated or there will be a remarks with the corrected name. You just have to pay a certain amount. Its been a law for more than 10 yrs now.Hope this helps.
Happy Birthday baby Jio!!! Hindi nya pa ma appreciate ang bday celebration nya sa ngayon, but next yr or the next 2yrs, i'm sure matutuwa yan, just like Ate Dana.❤
Ricky and Erica it’s a pleasure of you sharing the video of Jio first birthday party at Jollibee in the Philippines with all your families and friends. You are so blessed to have such amazing families. Especially your dad and mom who loves their grandchildren Dana and Jio. And Jio is always gives them a big smiles and his hugs to the families and friends. We cannot believe how much Dana loves to mingled with her cousins. She is so sweet and adorable to them. This God blessings to all of you having a wonderful times and enjoy your short visit to Erica home town. We know how hard it is to get paperwork done in order to have your dad and mom processing their Visa. My brother-in-law is also having difficulty time getting paperwork done for his son and his to come to USA from the Philippines. The family spoke to my brother-in-law telling him to hired an attorney to help him with his case. So, far the attorney has been able to get his son and his wife their paperwork filed through the Philippines consulate. We are continuing to pray for them that they can come to the United States to visit his father and the rest of the families. We will also keep you in our prayers Ricky and Erica that your parents and Dana and Jio could see their grandparents again this time in Korea. We are also wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Years❤🙏🙏🙏🙏
You’re such a sweet and humble people. You can do a late registry as long as you have all the documents. Praying that your parents can see Korea soon. God bless both of you.❤️🙏🏼
Hi! my ideal husband Ricky & Wife Erica's short hometown Christmas visits but happy & meaningful coz' it's first time Jios 1st birthday done in the Philippines at Jollibee,Everybody was so happy young & old relatives joined the parlor games,Erica cried at their departure going back to S.Korea's family home, maybe she cried & missed her family. Both Ricky & Erica's family are eagerly & happy to meet especially their mga apo's. Have a Merry Christmas & Prosperous New Year's to everyone!!!***
Grandparents on both sides are sweet & lovable. Glad to see you enjoyed your vacay but sad to see you part ways from your family. Ricky is so understanding. Keep safe & God bless.
Why did I cry too?😭 It’s a mixed emotion (joy and sadness). I could relate to you Erica living abroad, far from family, while raising your own family is difficult. And as always, it's hard to say goodbye at the end of every visit/vacay. This makes us sad and emotional.🥲 I feel you but I am happy at the same time to see you all (especially the kids) had so much fun with your loved ones back home. And once again, Happy Birthday to Jio, who was consistent in his choice to become an athlete⚽️ one day!😂 Thank you for sharing with us your fun-filled vacay! Have a wonderful Christmas Tengkers family!🎄🎅🏼🎁🥳🫶🏻 PS. I hope you resolve the issues with your Mom’s birth certificate as soon as possible, so your parents can visit you there in Korea.🙏🏻
You are very strong and independent ERICA👏👏👏Nakakaproud ka.You are lucky and deserving for having found a very loving Korean family too..GOD BLES YOU..
this is how i did it with my two sisters 1) go to local civil registry where your mom was born. some paper requirements will be needed i.e. birth certificate, baptismal certificate, scholastic record, sss, phil health records to see the consistency of her name's spelling 2) seek legal help as to what affidavit to be filed 3) make sure that annotation in the Birth certificate must be recorded in PSA
It is so nice that Dana & Jio can experience Filipino way of celebrating birthdays with their Filipino relatives. I salute you Ricky for your unselfish love to Erica & her family. I can see the happiness & enjoyment in all your faces. May God continue to bless your family. Merry Christmas Tengkers. I wish you God's love & protection❤
The more natural you are, the more beautiful you are, Nkka amaze nmn si sir Ricky towards her love to Erica, he loves Erica in her simplicity ❤❤❤❤❤, God bless u both and ur kids
Oh may, I can feel Erikas sadness, that is always the case everytime we visit our family, but I truly amaze you Ricky on how you love and took care of Erika and the kids, your patience is so adorable and amazing, anyway Erikas sadness are just natural and I know with you Ricky by her side is what she needs to comfort her, Dana had so much fun, and most of all the birthday boy Jio, I hope Erika is fine now and may you have a joyful and Merry Christmas, God bless 🌲🌲🌲
I've been following you eversince si dana palang ata ang baby nyo noon. But when i heard that Ericka's mom is from Masbate sobrang akong natuwa. Proud Masbateña here, working in Korea. Sobrang nakakabless ang kwento nyo. Beautiful family❤ God bless
Happy Birthday Jin.. tengkers your family is amazing . Both Ricky and Erica’s family are so loving and respectful… I cried with happiness and understanding of Erica’s feeling .Ricky u are very supportive of Erica . You are truly a family man I love you all… if this is any consolation to you Erica. I live in the US I filled petition for my siblings since both my parents passed away. It took 23yrs before they get approved now they are all here including their wives they stayed with me all 7 of them it was a big changed for me but we are happy they made it. They have been here 7 yrs and I gave them WINGS and now they are on their own. I am very very lucky because like Ricky I have a very supportive husband. That counts a lot😊 So I can relate to your dilemma Erica.good luck and God bless.
Hi Ericka, regarding your mom's birth certificate, were you able to see a lawyer or did you visit the Local Civil Registrar where you can ask for advise. There's a Law already regarding with your problem in a birth certicate. Ask a lawyer and visit LCR. I hope it can help🙏🙏❤️
Your mom can make a late registration of her birth certificate. But she needs to submit supporting documents like baptismal cert, affidavit declaring that your mom's names refer only to one person, voter's ID, atbp.
Yes i agree, talk to a lawyer. We also have the same issue as my mom, her primary school records and birth certificate were destroyed or burned during world war 2. We corrected everything thru an affidavit, we have to approach relatives and former neighbors as witness for the affidavit. I recall it took us a month to prepare everythng. Then the process is late registration. Again, talk to a lawyer. ❤❤
How sweet she got to have friends her own age n related to her awww don’t cry u guys made amazing memories or everyone many blessings from North Texas ❤
Nice that the kids also can experience how the Filipino kids celebrate birthday with family. As Kor Fil kids they should have both immerse Korea and Filipino Culture. Good parents Erica and Ricky.
Bakiiiiittt ganun.pinaiyak mo din ako.😢sakit dibdib ng umaalis.but sa kabila ng lahat e mayroon kang masayang family.visit PH again soon!napaka sweet ng Dana❤
Happy birthday Jio. You really have a great time bonding with your family and friends, especially Dana.God bless you all. Merry Christmas from Canada with l❤.
Hi Erica & Ricky! Thnx's for a wonderful sharing to your whole family in Pinas 🥰 About your Mom's Situation don't worry there's solution in every problem Think always in a positive way 😘 keep it up & TC always to the whole Family 🥰
Dito din ako sa korea for 5years at kaka bakasyon ko lang last october. Naiyak din ako pabalik dito korea. I feel you. Naiyak ulit ako while watching😢😢😢
Several of my family members had varying degree of “errors” in their birth certificates ranging from wrong spelling, wrong birthdates, to wrong gender. Really big mess especially our local registrar office was destroyed by fire years ago. We asked for guidance from the statistic authority and follow everything they recommended including hiring a lawyer to correct the gender and going through hearing. Don’t worry Erica. This is fixable. I hope your parents can visit Korea soon. Once again, I enjoyed watching your video. I love everything you showed in it. Like always, your video energized my Tuesday morning here in San Diego, CA. ❤🇵🇭🇺🇸❤️
Seeing Erica cried made me teary-eyed myself. I’m beyond grateful that my two grown up kids are now here with me in the US and need not suffer again the hurt of saying goodbye every time i leave Manila. Erica is so lucky indeed for having a loving, a dedicated Dad to their children and a gorgeous husband to boot. May you have a wonderful Christmas and a prosperous 2024.😊🇰🇷🇵🇭🇺🇸❤
My mother had the same problem (with regard to her misspelt name on her birth certificate) when she was trying to apply for her passport. She filed a petition for correction of clerical error so that the civil registrar would take the necessary action. It is important to note that the filing of such does not require a judicial order, as stated under RA 9042 and RA 10172. As to the matter of securing other documents, particularly those required at local government levels, an applicant only has to submit a notarized copy of an affidavit of one and the same person.
Hi Erika, i have the same problem with my name. What i did is i go to the lawyer and just make a statement that my name I am using right now and my name on the live birth is a same person. Now I am in Australia now. Take care and I love watching your vlogs with your Family. Xxx
Erica, before I came to the US, I had the same problem with my birth certificate. Have you tried getting an affidavit stating that so and so is the same person as this so and so. Would be really good for your mother to be able to visit your place while she still can. God bless you all. Regards to Ricky and the kids. To the whole family…. Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 🎆.
Dear Erica and Ricky, always thankful despite of the rat race in every generation your family still exists. Continue to impart good values to your kids for the future generation. I truly love watching your blended family (Observed Ricky’s side) his family support I’m in awe and mesmerised both family keep the respect and accept both culture and tradition. We Pinoy have our own greatest strength being hospitable that’s our inborn culture. I’m pretty sure when there’s love and respect it covers all! Kudos to Erica specifically 👏👏👏 she is someone a role model to any Mom a wife who is so humble she takes everything in her strides with great pride what a humble wife I’m not surprised Ricky is successful because of her support!! Cheers to your family I’m your supporter since day 1 you started your family!!
Hi Erica and Ricky and Danna and jio. Happy to see you back in Philippines for vacation before Christmas celebration. Of course your parents deserve to see Ricky’s place South korea. Danna already big and talk well . Jio also grown so fast. Wishing you all Happy Holidays ❤❤❤😊
It's so nice to see Dana getting along with her Ate. Same time, sad to see Erica cry. I wanted to share info with you regarding obtaining records from the church. I too needed important documents regarding my birth certificate and baptismal papers. I found out the church I got baptized in the provence burned down so I was told that all paperwork or any records are sent to the Vatican. Sure enough, I wrote to them, and obtained all proof . It took a month but its amazing how the Catholic churches keeps all records along with all the names of parents, place of birth, profession of parents, etc. I hope this info will help. You may actually go to a Catholic church in Korea to see if they can help so the records are sent to Korea. Good Luck and many blessings!
Erica so happy to see you and family together. Regarding eyelashes, nagpalagay din anak ko sa Vietnam. Parang it is not permanent, don't know kung the same sa lahat . Tinanggal din niya after more that a month kasi need daw. Parang too lng na nga un, just concern sa maaring effect kung sa pangmatagalan. Anyway, enjoy your stay and keep safe always.
OMG ! It’s always sad to say goodbye to family in the Philippines, living here in Toronto 🇨🇦 for 20 years and the feeling is still same everytime I leave home . There’s no place like home. Hugs Erica ❤
Also teary-eyed here for you, feeling your sadness. Luckily, it’s just temporary cause you have a wonderful husband and great parents-in-law. Hope you’ll be able to have a longer stay here in the Philippines the next time.
It's easier to change the name if it is only a typographical error or clerical error. :) better ask a lawyer for advice and visit the Local civil registry where the birth certificate is recorded. Just complete the supporting documents needed. If the elementary records are no longer available, HS or college will do. Also visit the church for the baptismal certificate as this will serve as a supporting document too. 😊
Your wife is so soft-spoken, you are a good match. I, too am married to a Russian, very different from our culture. We live here in Canada and both of us are far from our family - every time we come to the Philippines for vacation, he understands how difficult it is for me to not be surrounded by my friends and family. She will appreciate it if you will be more conscious of how she will be happier with people familiar to her, esp you are in another country. God bless your family.
Dana as she grew older she become more beautiful especially her face while Jio also becomes cute how lucky the couples their kids are both healthy and big
i cried too watching here😢its really heart wrecking and this the part of every person who apart from love ones the goodbyes after the the happy moment😢

It is important to note that the filing of such does not require a judicial order, as stated under RA 9042 and RA 10172. As to the matter of securing other documents, particularly those required at local government levels, an applicant only has to submit a notarized copy of an affidavit of one and the same person.
So jealous of you, guys! Korea isn't so far from the Philippines. I live in Canada and traveling to the Philippines is a challenge.

Blessed families.❤
Merry Christmas and a Happy Prosperous blessed 2024🍀🍀🍀

Also teary-eyed here for you, feeling your sadness. Luckily, it’s just temporary cause you have a wonderful husband and great parents-in-law. Hope you’ll be able to have a longer stay here in the Philippines the next time.
I feel you Erica ❤ God bless your family
Happy 1st birthday baby Jio hope you enjoy your pary at Jollibee with your Ate Dana god bless and Merry Christmas 🎄🎁 🎉
