- Now that I have mastered my wash n go and know what my hair likes and dislikes, I wanted to try these two OG products to see if they are work for my low porosity, low density, type 3 and type 4 natural hair. So many people rave about one of these products and always tell me to try them (again), so here it is!

I can definitely can vouch for Curl Maker i swear that marshmallow root makes a huge difference. I want to try Uncle Funky because I like how it elongates the reviewers curls

I don't count my wash n go as day one until it's been 24 hours later because there's 24 hours in a day. Counting it as day one after only doing it a few hours ago I consider it to be just that, a few hours old. 😉 Great video girlie, your hair is so pretty💟

This is the best Versus of the summer! 😊 My day 1 is 24hrs after wash. I just bought UFD because of how well it works on my sister's hair. Will try that first for a while.

I love them both! Uncle Funky for the volume look and Curl Maker controlled defined curls.
I’m about to turn on post notifications because I love your videos. 🥰🥰🥰🥰 I’m gonna give the curl maker another try! I hated it at first bc it was way too gummy, but to your point I didn’t know my hair well back then. To answer your question, if my hair dries on the first while it’s light out, I’ll consider that day 1. Lol if I do my hair too late in the day and have to dry it right before bed, I’ll consider the following day after my wash n go to be day 1.

You have to emulsify the gels and conditioners before you apply them in your hair. Also it works best on soaking wet hair so it's best to apply them in the shower.

So I never used curl maker before, however I use tgin leave in conditional on wet hair and then uncle funky daughter.. I think uncle funky daughter is really great for short short curly hair which is what I have
I'm.yet to try CR but love UFD! Glad you did this review as it makes me want to try purchase it! I don't ever use a leave in with WnGs since learning a new regimen with BGCs routine for hydrated curls, and I'm getting the best WnGs ever on my 4b/4c textured hair.
I used to also use leave ins as well but lately I haven’t and my hold last much longer!
I love Uncle Funky! I haven't tried Curl Maker, but I think this is what I will be purchasing next. I just tried Big Poppa and I didn't like how my hair felt. We are keeping these companies in business!

I need to revisit Curl maker. I’m presently using UFD with I create hold. I feel UFD is more moisturizing but then again I wasn’t doing my wash n go right. Curl maker is about 30$ Canadian in our Waltmart. As for your question I feel the day after wash day is day one.
Do you use UFD under I create hold to get more moisture?? I love I create hold by itself or mousse. And yeah Camille rose is pricy but I didn’t need to use as much
@@EishaTaylore UFD under I create hold. I think now I know how to use it in this combo. I make sure that my hair is really wet and rub the gel between my hand. After make sure every strand is coated. If needed I wet my hair and put more. After I put 2 pump of ICH in every section. That is my last attempt yesterday and it works. I want to see how it will expand. I have fine hair and lot but it’s not visible when I do wash n go cause of the shrinkage day one. It goes big during the week

Day one for me is wash day 🤷🏽♂️ day two is the day after, wash days for me a early so that’s why basically day 1 is wash day cuz after it dries I got the rest of the day with it
Day 1 is the day I can go out with the wash n go. But I always do wash n go in the mornings

Welcome back, I’m really not that impressed with any CR products particularly that gel. Day 1 for me is my wash day once my W&G has dried. I count it like that because I count that day when counting how many days until my next wash day. Thanks for the review.

Camille Rose gel has coconut oil. Why o why?
I say day 2 starts after 12 hrs doing your hair so if I do my hair if the morning and it’s dry and I sleep on it then it’s day 2, but if I do my wash n go towards the night time and it’s wet and fully dry when I wake up then I consider that day 1

Every video you post helps me! I think I might try this out, i dont want to use ufd since it has the name magic in it lol. So I might use CRCM under the recommendations the stylist recommended or kiny curly custard

Would you recommend using these two products together since one provides moisture and the other elongates your curls?
You can definitely give it a try but I think these two products are expensive and isn’t worth buying both. And it may create a sticky mess.
Do you have a video on gels you love? My hair type is like yours. I’m struggling!

Uncle Funky's is my staple and I don't like volume. I don't get volume with it. I have tried Curl Maker too and I really liked it, but I couldn't stand the smell of it. It stinks to me.
