    Looks great. I’ve never been a big fan of the first Backbone on my previous iPhone though. It looks and feels premium, has great, clicky buttons, and does exactly what it promises, but it always felt too small in my hands and I ended up using it a lot less than I thought I would.
    Now that the 15 Pro is getting some true AAA games, I’m looking for a new controller. While the Backbone One still seems like the default option, the Gamesir G8 Galileo looks like the better option to me. It’s a bit bigger, seems to have more comfortable grips, has Hall Effect joysticks and actually lets you replace those joysticks yourself. On top of that, it’s about €30-40 cheaper than the Backbone. Don’t know if it works with a case though, which would be a bummer.

    Thanks for the vid. I just bought one for my niece and glad it works with a case. However I feel tricked thinking it would be plug and play to play on any device out of the box. Its my fault also thinking it would connect to a PC , Mac, or iphone/ipad via bluetooth. I assumed that bc my other niece got a generic controller similar to the backbone and it connects via bluetooth, it was only 50.00 and soooo easy to sync via bluetooth to her iphone. Im curious if it can connect to a PC wirelessly.

    Your video is excellent but Backbone has me insanely confused so maybe you could help me solve this. I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max that only uses lightning. I want to keep my case on but Gen 2 only has USB-C. I would use Gen 1 but it won't work with the iPhone 14 camera bezel anyway even if i did take the case off. I saw their option on the site for an adapter kit only but now I'm hesitant.

    • @ReyG_HKSH
      @ReyG_HKSH  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The adapter kit for the lightning version will allow you to use an iPhone 14 Pro Max without a case. My lighting version of the Backbone came with it in the box but initial releases didn’t include it which is why they are offering it free on the website. If you pick up a lightning gen 1 version today, the adapter should be included.

    It’s an awesome controller, FYI the 2nd gen also comes with lightning as well. So if you’re like me with iPhone 12 Pro Max, and a Zizo Case it should work fine. Imo these buttons are of a solid quality, they work exceptionally well. The only complaint is as many, many others have said as well. Backbone shouldn’t have a subscription for those features… it’s so dumb and wrong. At best if they wanted to nickel & dime us for those things they should had charged $5-10 tops for a lifetime subscription. Not yearly $30 - $50 subscription options wtf??? I hope they change their stance in the future because this controller does retail for $100. We already showing mad support for their ecosystem for buying this tbh.

    • @ReyG_HKSH
