If you are interesed in the iron age and prehistoic, then this series of videos is a must watch. The plan and angular views show incredible constructional detail in relation to thi'er setting. Quite simply the most atmospheric and educational material I have seen from my arm chair!
Could you put a drone over the Hillforts of Glamorgan above the Vale across to Margam and Baglan there is so much History and archaeology in that area.
Any so called 'Motte and Bailey' castles should be considered as the Normans building a fortification on top of an ancient man made ceremonial hill and a strong clue to look for a nearby stone/timber circle from the Neolithic age.
Or perhaps earlier than Norman! so I hear a whisper that many so called Motte and Baileys in west Wales may not be what they seem! There are people looking into it! Thanks for your input!
