such a great tutorial mate , bu t i m not sure if you noticed that background of lottieanimationview is very white actually that it is not really going with the white color of the normal layout , is there any way to change lottie animationview background color , i tried background but didnt work , thank you , or background should be change from lottie files

Well you can’t, if u want custom text then you need to create the animation in full, as in create vector file in sketch or xd, then animate inside after effects and then export the json file using bodymovin plugin.

when i implimented it my app crashes.. java.lang.IllegalStateException: Unable to parse composition
Caused by: com.airbnb.lottie.parser.moshi.JsonEncodingException: Use JsonReader.setLenient(true) to accept malformed JSON at path $
I have the same error, i just use the url from the animation and work for me.

you cannot, its duration in provided in the Lottie file, or u can create your own lotties.
