    An almost unique moment as Kenny took his opportunity to go from the front ruined by poor camera work that was too tight on Kenny and didn't let you see the gap and drama behind, and whether Kenny was going to be caught. Cutting away and missing him cross the line was unforgivable. Amazing win from Kenny.

      @@mohammadnizar347 I suggest you familiarise yourself with the UCI regulations on the Keirin race before making rash statements. This is the relevant rule from UCI Regulations PART 3 TRACK RACES.
      "3.2.140 In the case when one or more riders pass the leading edge of the front wheel of the pacer before the pursuit line when he leaves the track, the race will be stopped and rerun without the rider(s) at fault, which will be disqualified."
      Jason Kenny's front wheel clearly did not pass the leading edge of the pacer's front wheel until after the pursuit line. In consequence, he broke no rule. So you really think the judges in Tokyo didn't know their job? Japan is the country where the event was first developed. Also, do you think the other teams would not have raised objections if a rule had been broken?
      So, no rule was broken, and Jason Kenny was therefore not disqualified.

      yeah . according to keirin's law , it is disqualified

    • @TheEulerID
      @TheEulerID 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@haziqkaka3414 Not true in the slightest. The only rule is that a rider must not overlap the pacer before crossing the line as it pulls out. Go look at the video @2:52 and Jason Kenny's front wheel is just behind the pacer's rear wheel at the line. It's very close, but that's part of the art of the Keirin.
      The bell is entirely irrelevant. It just marks the last lap and riders are free to accelerate as much as they like once the pacer has pulled out as long as they have not passed the pacer's rear wheel before the line.

    Jason Kenny committed 2 flagrant fouls at the Tokyo Olympics, was given a chance & confirmed for the gold medal. Azizulhasni made a few mistakes and was punished by disqualification & not allowed to compete in repecharges. The reason is Jason Kenny from the West (Great Britain) & Azizulhasni from Asia (Malaysia) and the first Olympic gold medalist from Asia. This is discrimination and sports conspiracy of the highest order. The UCI and the Paris 24 Olympic keirin jury are useless & a real shame to the world.

    80km/hr on a Fixie single-speed !!!!! With no draughting assistance. Only real cyclists will understand how crazy that is.
    If you don't understand, then cycle down the steepest hill in your neighbourhood, as fast as you can. You probably won't be going 80km/hr.

      @@Daz555Daz Laura is amazing. I think it's funny how Jason is a sprinter while Laura is a marathon woman in track cycling. Their disciplines are completely different yet they still got married! I gotta admit that all that long-distance stuff that Laura has to do is far harder than Jason's 2 minute long sprints. Like the omnium? That is one of the most dangerous and most complicated events in the Olympics, not just cycling. How does Laura win the omnium so many times?
