To those who do not know the rule, the race should be restarted at 2:50. The Australian rider should be disqualified as he make more 6 meters distance between himself and Jason.
I have just read the UCI regulations for the Keirin, and there is no such provision. If you believe otherwise, then perhaps you would specify the relevant UCI regulation number.
No rules were broken (I have just read the UCI regulations, which are mercifully brief). Other riders could have overtaken the Australian as he allowed the gap to open, but they chose not to do so. That was their miscalculation.

Also, do you think the other teams would not have raised objections if a rule had been broken? So, no rule was broken, and Jason Kenny was therefore not disqualified.

Go look at the video @2:52 and Jason Kenny's front wheel is just behind the pacer's rear wheel at the line. It's very close, but that's part of the art of the Keirin. The bell is entirely irrelevant. It just marks the last lap and riders are free to accelerate as much as they like once the pacer has pulled out as long as they have not passed the pacer's rear wheel before the line.
