To make the mushroom lamp...place a clear glass bowl ( not glued) upside down to a tall cylindrical clear vase. Paint it in way that suits your style and add a puck light with remote and you have it

Happy Mother's Day everyone.💐 I make my own throw pillows. I buy the pillow cases from Amazon and buy the cheap bed pillows from Walmart, take the stuffing out of them, stuff the pillow cases and you have extremely affordable and beautiful throw pillows.
Loved the video. It's such a high for me to dupe things I want but can't afford. I wanted a bread bowl. I found a marble looking plastic bowl in the shape of a bread bowl. I painted it and put wicker balls in it. It cost $2 for the bowl and $7 for the paint. The lowest I found was $35.

Where I live there are two stores called Black Friday´s and El Remate in which they have different final sale prices each day until 1 dollar. I think is a good option instead of going to the thrift stores (they don´t have nothing or its not cheap at all). Happy Mother´s Day!

I’ve thought of trying to decoupage tissue paper and paint with paints that might mimic the capiz look… but I’ve never tried it. Might be fun to try on very inexpensive glass items…

We never have good textiles at our thrift stores. I see people finding Target pillows at theirs....not here. Consignment shops you can. I look at thrift store for antique dishes and baskets. All rest is iffy. Its really scary over there too. Not safe area.

2nd Hand Textiles and the "Ewww' Factor: here is a fun fact... when was the last time you slept in a hotel bed, a VRBO bed, a guest bed at a friend's/family members,....cruise/all inclusive? Do you know that the textiles you purchase at a thrift store, probably were slept in/on by one person only? ... not so much the other ones! Ha! ... and if you can wash it, it is no different!
