Aside from the fact that I requested my 2nd ever payout since embarking on my prop firm trading journey, trading in my Apex Trader Funding accounts kinda sucked today.
For starters, I smoked another funded account. It's the one I wasn't pushing too hard to begin with but had one really bad trade then a series of more bad trades and found myself with a $153 remainging drawdown. I was confident in my ability to work my way out from under that deficit because I've done it before, but I just couldn't get things going trading micros and before I knew it, the account was down. I do not like trading micros and today is the perfect example why. Positions I needed to hold longer I didn't and it just kinda really messed me up. So now it's gone.
Moving right along, I couldnt trade my new funded 25K account thanks to Apex's insane 90% Off sale absolutely killing Tradovate's servers.
Oh and I had my $18.70 250K eval up $4500 and then started taking massive positions with it, like an idiot, and that $6500 drawdown came quick.
So at least I requested another $2K today - which makes $4K this month from trading NQ futures with prop firms.
Tomorrow is a new day. I'll return back to my disciplined lately self.

Bro 250k is only to fail u... 15k target and then u have to build 6.5k for buffer zone
yeah the 15k target is rough. The buffer zone is doable. I'm up for the challenge... and I'm doing it "for the stream" LOL. Only thing I do like about it if/when you get to the buffer zone and receive a payout, you still have a 3500 trailing drawdown to work with which is amazing. I'll just trade it like a 50K and take my time, once I get the PA. And besides, it's only $18.70
@zerodayjay yeah of course u can make it work. I do 150k and think it's best. U can pass it in 1 day, gambling. & building buffer zone doesn't take long. Good luck
