I had a similar experience where I purchased knee pads from Dennis, along with modding my CCM Eflex glove. The knee pads are worth every dime. One thing I will say is talk to Dennis but my intermediate sized knee pads still fit great despite me being fully grown at this point (Got them when I was 15 and now 21). So if the size is an issue for people maybe get a the intermediate size bc I still feel very secure and comfortable in my 6-7 year old factory mad knee pads. I do not use the modded glove anymore but I am thinking of sending my Mach glove to Dennis (Bauer gloves close pretty good but a modded glove from Dennis is unlike anything I have ever closed)
Never a bad idea to ask Dennis to make your gear work even better! Good to hear about the knee pads, sounds like they’re gonna stay with ya for a while!
Hey Chris - how did you pull the Bauer logo off your glove? Love the review on the Factory Mad gear and mods, been following them for a while, thanks for your take on them
So the V9 is that actually a v7000 spec glove? I've been talking to a rep he said I could get a v7000 spec glove but I'm afraid it won't be allowed in the league if it is the wrong size(as in not IIHF LEGAL)
Incorrect. The glove in this video is a V9 XP 60 degree break. I own 2 gloves that go with the black/iridescent green Vaughn set and the other glove is a V1 7000 in NHL spec. At this point in time, I don't think Vaughn (or many manufacturers) even own dies to make a piece of gear out of current NHL spec.
I'm not a Vaughn rep my man, so you'll always have to confirm with them. But as long as you mention you want in NHL spec and IIHF, why wouldn't it be legal?
Dennis is great. Helped me solve a pad rotation issue on my L20.1s
Those knee guards do look pretty sick though. Always been a fan of the floating tee but never had one myself. Great vid DUDO!!
Not as thin as the RXS but a pretty similar shape. I think you’d dig em!
Nice review Chris ! Make sure to wear a sock over your knee guards .
I used to not do it, but switched to wearing socks over knee pads about 5 years ago. Helps keep everything in place!
Thanks a lot man, your reviews are awesome!
I have one of Dennis's gloves. It's fantastic! I want to get a pair of his pads.
I’ve had one of his actual gloves before too! I do agree, I’d love to try his pads as well.
I'm in love just won't say in love with who or what 😂 love the vids Dudo keep it up

Needlenose pliers. The logos are rubber based, so just pull em off.
This is huge
How is it picking pucks off the ice with the floating T’s? Like scooping it not using your stick to hit it in your glove
Never had a single issue picking the puck up with the glove after covering it. So I’d say In my time, a modified T has never caused that issue.
18 hours...but I want it now!!!
Now is your time!

@@chrisxdudo so if I get a v1 7000 glove it'll be compliant with the rules?
