It looked like late 60s and early 70s decor. I can't believe they left all those older antiques there. Some of the things you shown were worth some high dollar prices. Did they die or disappear to leave things like that. Thats crazy.

Lord the whole thing gave me the willies. It seems as tho it was handed down from gen 2 gen. It may have started out as an old victorian FH, from the looks of some of the furniture, especially that large vase. But I gotta tell ya that place is spooky even daylight! Yikes 😨☮
The picture of the baby made me sad, it makes me think these people left in a hurry. I don’t think many people would just leave a framed picture of their baby like that.
OMG, I’m a clairvoyant and felt lots of spirit activity here, I had a strange feeling of many a soul still lingering in desperation to pass over into the holy light, something happened here, I feel a lot of negativity around an individual that once owned the place when it was an active funeral company, wrong doing, not embalming the deceased as they were supposed to, or rushing the procedure and getting it wrong, neglecting the deceased, so many are still trapped there, that’s probably the cold spots you felt, thanks for sharing someone should go here, a professional paranormal team try to cleanse the place, do some spirit box, EVP sessions, I feel they would get many souls calling out to them for help. I also feel like an individual that had lived in the living quarters had passed on feel like he worked and helped out there, taking many secrets of the unnatural way the funeral home was being run. Thanks for sharing. 🙏🙏💜💜💜💜
New subscriber thanks to RNK all Day!! Hi Jose Robb thinks you are a really great expoler so I added you to my subscribe list! A lot of old stuff in this place we didn't see when you took Rob!!
Thank you ! Second time I've viewed this video, I seem to remember the uploader had some association with RnK but I forgot to subscribe back then. @4:00 very nice Arts and Crafts Tall clock/Grandfather..Newhaven/Cushman and worth a tidy penny, not as much as the beautiful 200yr old Dragon Throne chair @7:08 and 2 more in that room, I do hope this place wasn't vandalised.. there's a 1920's through 40's feel ruminating through the quality of fixtures and fittings, and those doors !!
You were there all alone? Brave of you! That place was super creepy! Can't believe all the nice furniture that was left behind. Especially those intricately carved chairs. They were kind of creepy too with the serpent carvings!
I lived in an old funeral home! Tell ya what, would not be a bit scared to buy that building as is! And live in it! Not the dead that hurts ya, but the living, and look at the beautiful furniture!!!!!
Just subbed to you, saw you from Josh. I liked your style in that video, you should try to look like a DayZ or STALKER character which is perfect for these things. Thats a really nice place btw.
To be honest, if the stuff is actually abandoned like that and nobody doesn't claim it, I would take some of the furniture. I'll come back at night with a truck and start loading some things.
Midwest Flesh UrbEx yes but nothing much left but the white table and some other little cool items but nothing like what you see on this video I’ll take you bro
Oh my gosh would love to have those dolls and some of those antiques there! Can you give me the name of this place so maybe I can find out who owns it now. Maybe they would sell them? It always amazes me what people leave behind. Families just don’t care anymore about remembering the past.

What an amazing find! How beautifully creepy! I love it! ....... “can you tell me where this place is? I’d love to steal, I mean, see all those amazing antiques” 🙄😳😆😉🤫🤫
Sorry that I am late! But this is the "Best" urban exploration video that I have seen in 10 years. The site alone was amazing which is the point of urban exploring (no different than running into someones pyramid ). But there's another factor that a real U/E doesn't care about. And that is Spirits! Its all about the location (funeral home, man you are spiritually strong). I stopped exploring due to a spiritual experience in learning that you don't have to believe, but when you see, hear or feel something paranormal you'll accept the reality that spirits are real. So I'd rather watch. You are a true "G"! I don't get scared often, but that embalming table and room alone (10:54, :58, 11:01-11:08,11:13, 11:25, 11:36, 11:45, 11:55 the whole room) had a stomach wrenching vibe. That one chair facing the opposite direction in the basement was omen creepy. It was voices throughout this whole video, and I know it was genuine because you kept quiet and continued to explore. SORRY for the long winded comment but excellence recognizes excellence. Keep at it (but be safe)! Go back @ night.
Looks like 80's décor to me - I have that same black and gold world style picture hanging on my wall. Love the French provincial furniture in the bedroom - reminds me of simpler times. Wonder why so much great stuff was left behind? Have any history on the place?
Gotta be a couple million in antiques alone. Why people trash old beautiful places like this is way beyond my comprehension. These artifacts belong in a museum for posterity. Such a gorgeous building, so sad even considering the function of the place.
The funeral director probably passed away with no living relatives. A few clues are present: assisted walker 1:42 in the kitchen, 3:21 old photos left out to view, 3:28 the bedsheets removed possibly soiled, old time items around the house with old furniture. Don't get me started in the basement .... creepy but the man liked bling! Also, based on the kitchen appliances and the push button phone the home has been abandoned since 1990.
Hey, Jose! Been a while. I love your videos. I'm in Chicago, too. 11:02 that's the table they would put the bodies on to drain them of blood and put the embalming fluids in. Yikes! 11:06 that's red formaldehyde. They would put red dye in the formaldehyde so that the bodies would look more lifelike and less pale when they were displayed. Seriously. (See "Ask a Mortician" she has a great TH-cam channel. But, she hates embalming. Her influence is one of the reasons I didn't have my poor mama embalmed when she died.) The Viewing Parlor looks like something out of the early 1900s or something. Weird. The place looks so creepy. I believe you were feeling cold spots. 13:50.... OMG!!!! FTR, you were trying to open the coffin from the side with the hinges. If you had been able to get to the other side you could have opened it. I understand you were creeped out. I would have been. It looked like there was more than one coffin in there. Understandably creepy. Excellent Explore! One of your best. Jose! Fantastic work. Warmly, Mary in Chicago
Hold up. Someone else explored this funeral home on another video. There were dolls on the bed and one doll kept changing directions (someone kept moving the doll). This guy must have explored it first because it is much cleaner and no vandalism and spray paint. I also remember that old TV and the records on the floor in front of that old stereo. Nice job though.
So, the beds are for necrophiliacs? The reason the family that lived there left is one day, an old lady was getting ready to get embalumed and she stood up and demanded to know the cost? Word has it she got mad and left, looking for a cheaper funeral home.
Most funeral homes seem to be pass down to generation to generation... till someone says NO WAY I’m not carrying on this something screams that to me in this one. Nobody wanted to carry on the family business or plots get full no money to be made. Antiques galore in this place! Just left to rot I seen this explore in another video and it had so much tagging and in your video it didn’t so it was NICE to see it how you showed it the pic next to the stairs isn’t destroyed with black paint bet that’s the owner

Y would someone abandon such a beautiful house? It doesn't matter what it was b4, all it needs is some TLC, and a good family to make it a home...
Many beautiful antiques could and should be salvaged from this place and saved from the same fate as the building itself.
Glad to see you back. Hope your doing well.

That's always the first question that comes to mind, especially if everything looks intact. Why would someone leave a place like this so suddenly?

Those embalming chemicals are hazardous. I wonder why they were just left behind? Back when they were new, they were worth like twenty bucks a bottle.
