Here's my first experience designing a website on the iPad and all of the steps involved to bring it to life. The website I create is a platform to generate NFTs using artificial intelligence (AI).

Don't you have nay problem regarding the trackpad ? Sometimes I'm just looking for the copy function but it gives me a big note that occupy a lot of space.

Really enjoyed this but it would have been a bit nicer if there was more info we can take away and implement. Im looking into buying an iPad and would love to know if I can do some web design/mock-ups on the go. Would also love to know what the blackboard app you used at the start of the clip was?
Thanks for the feedback, I'll look to give more actionable feedback in the future. Also I've linked the iPad I use in the description but you can likely use any as its a website I'm using, not an app. Also the whiteboard app was Microsoft Whiteboard :)

Hi, i have a MacBook Pro and an iPad. But on daily i realized im using more the iPad Pro. But im starting on Figma and was wondering if you think it would be enough for a beginner to use Figma for projet on the browser on the iPad
Sure I mean it’s not the most convenient way and a laptop is far easier but give it a shot!

I am a UX UI Designer I have macbook pro m1 2020 so, I think about upgrading to m2 pro but in same time I could just keep my m1 MacBook and buy m2 Ipad pro and use both at the same time..

I think everyone has different needs so if you think you’ll get much use out of the iPad as a designer then yeah go for it but it’s definitely no essential by any means.
I mainly use mine for watching videos, don’t think I’ll switch over just yet

You should be ok with most iPads in the last few years because it’s browser based

I’d say don’t go for the iPad specifically for UI/UX but if you are going to buy one, even the iPad Air is good enough as it’s browser based

For me I’d stick with a laptop for design work but you may have different needs 🙂
Why not use a keyboard and have access to all your shortcuts? Or assign them to the assist menu?
@@TristanCodes good idea I could do but just wanted to see how far I could push only using the iPad
@@TristanCodes I saw somewhere that on iPad you can't use shortcuts anyways, as iOS version of Safari overrides it's own shortcuts over Figma's
I feel this video would've been better if you had stick to the wireframing and just do a livestream of that.
Maybe a future idea
You showed everything and nothing. You make good content, no argument, but, you better give your viewers what they came for. You gave a bit of important information and showed insufficient information that we can’t relate.
What did you come for?
Sure the editing was nice... But useless video since you don't link the apps you used, not even telling the names... Not even in the comment section nor description.
The main website I use is in the title. The others are miro and Microsoft whiteboard
