For anyone who wants to reduce the salt in salted pistachios, considering mixing a bag of salted with non-salted. Typically we eat more than one at a a time and it balances out the flavors.

It’s been unseasonably warm here in Edmonton all December. Above freezing temps during the day, a little below freezing at night. The snow we got in November is pretty much gone. It’s icy from the freeze thaw cycles. I think we will go back to normal this week, around -7 to -10C for the highs which is much more seasonable! I expect we will have a deep freeze in January at some point, and hopefully some snow cause it’s so dry and we need it to melt in the spring to make it green.

My kids are already on school holidays. They finished up last Wednesday and don't go back until 30th January 2018 - I am in Australia, so it is summer here and SO HOT already!!! You have 40 Fahrenheit - we have 40 Celsius (104 for you!)

I don't use added salt in my cooking and everything is low sodium and red meat is a once a month treat . I have had high blood pressure since I was a teenager and my kids were born with heart defects. My kids will complain about it in the future.
