- Hey party people! Can you believe it? I filmed another lunch video! Woop! Hope you guys enjoy the realness. real easy, real life, real simple. haha I have been making lunch videos for as long as I've had my channel... ahem... many years... and I know a lot of you stick around to see the lunch videos so I'm sure some of you are pleased that they are back for now! I recently found your channel and I am so hooked! I feel like we have very similar styles and I'm loving it. I watched so many of your videos the last couple of days that I dreamed last night that I had a youtube channel! LOL!
PLEASE cut your little one's grapes in half. They are a huge choking hazard
You make the best lunch videos. A lot of the other videos either pack way too much food (enough for 3 lunches) or are super healthy to the point of being unrealistic (no way my kid would eat raw broccoli/ quinoa/ or a big scoop of cold garden peas for lunch). You have good portion sizes - eg: a handful of grapes or strawberries rather than half the punnet.
My daughter is fussy, she won’t eat ‘hot food’ cold. So the grilled cheese in lunch would also have been a no from her. Veggies would need to be warm (I often pack a mini corn on the cob in a thermos as a side dish). She won’t eat cold sausage rolls/quiche/mini sausages etc.
She would have eaten most of the stuff you packed this week.

Does their school let them bring food with nuts in them? Here we can’t sometimes I wish they could but I understand why not.

I need inspiration. My 1st grader is picky. I ask him if he wants sandwiches he says no, i ask do you want meat and crackers and he says no. I still put it in there though. I think i need to not ask and just make his lunch. If he's hungry he will eat.
That’s what I do. I make a meal plan for lunches with all that’s included. I tell my granddaughter (5) what it’s gonna be when we make it. She’s gonna eat or be hungry. She’s also kinda picky, but most days she eats everything. Sometimes it’s repetitive, but gotta do what we gotta do.

Love your ideas!!! I always struggle coming up with new lunch box ideas for my daughter. Have you tried Aldi's store brand granola bars that are supposed to be their version of larabar ? They seriously taste the same. They are way cheaper and I was shocked that they taste so much alike

It is expensive; like $6 for that small jar. I get mine at my local grocery store near the peanut butters. :) .

GB My husband doesn’t have access to a microwave so It makes it even harder to come up with ideas. I send him with salmon salad pitas, wraps, soup, sweet and spicy tuna pouches, pasta salad, and snacky lunch.
My husband makes his own at night it's a good nighttime routine and I have company when I'm cleaning up dinner, if I go really slow and talk allot he will help loading the dishwasher or washing pots and pans 😂

My mom told me that when she would send a thermos of food with us to school she would fill it with boiling water and let it sit for about 5 minutes, dump the water and then add the cold leftovers or whatever she was sending for lunch and it was always hot when I ate it. I don't know if this helps but I do it now with my kids when they want a sac lunch instead of hot lunch.

These are so fun!!! My son gets basically the same thing every day for lunch. Pb&j, cheese stick, fruit of some kind and a treat. Either a cookie or fruit snacks
My kids aren't allowed anything peanut or nuts, too many allergies and when I have 3 kids that can live off of pb&j, so hard to pack cause they wont eat it!
