It is indeed a good idea/trick BUT this only applies to the rechargeable type, doing this to non-rechargeable is another recipe for explosion and even bad injuries.....
This is only a non-lasting quick fix I used as a kid to get more out of my used up batteries as I couldn't get new ones. Once the chemical process is used up they're done.
Try using you own voice for the commentary. Using text to speech engines just make me and others leave almost immediately. Also, the battery chemistry in non-rechargeable batteries are NOT designed for them to be recharged. This could be a fire hazard.

Internal heating can cause the sealed case to explode...! In this video's 1st demo, you'd NEVER want to consider using a 9Volt direct current (9Vdc) power pack adapter to 'force' a trickle (small reverse current flow) recharge into a non-rechargeable battery. Think about this...!!! Voltage (V) is a measurement of the 'pushing' force of a voltage source, to force electrons (called current flow) to flow through any completed and properly (WARNING: or even IMPROPERLY) connected circuit's pathway(s). Would you want someone to try to jump start (or recharge) your car's dead or weak 12V car battery from a voltage source that is 6 times (6X) greater in 'pushing' force than your 12V car battery's approximately normal (when fully and properly charged) level of 13.2V...??? The 1st demo was using 9V to force a reverse charging current into a 1.5V non-rechargeable battery...!!! A power source (like his demo's 9V power pack) is only designed to safely deliver a limited amount current flow to a properly matched *device's needs. (The *device's pathway(s) and circuitry have resistance, and that resistance opposes a voltage's pushing force to limit current flow to what is normal and safe for that specific device's normal needs.) His 9V power pack, being designed to only safely deliver a small current flow ( usually noted in mA or milliamps on the power pack info label), would not maintain the stated 9V level when attempting this improper method to recharge a non-rechargeable battery (or even a rechargeable battery) without the risk of overheating the power pack, or the battery, or BOTH. Safety should be first. A wise 'inventor' should seek to know and help others safely implement the use of the proper knowledge of electrical circuit theory and safety practices. Play safe... Learn solid basics about electrical and electronics theory, and encourage others to do likewise. Casual experimenting without readily and freely available knowledge may result in unexpected, possibly even tragic, unforeseen results. But, hey... I do hope you believe in the right choice to the afterlife. Everyone should consider that, FIRST and FOREMOST, until they KNOW they're on the ONLY RIGHT PATH. G'day to all...!🙂

Voltage (V) is a measurement of the 'pushing' force of a voltage source, to force electrons (called current flow) to flow through any completed and properly (WARNING: or even IMPROPERLY) connected circuit's pathway(s).
Would you want someone to try to jump start (or recharge) your car's dead or weak 12V car battery from a voltage source that is 6 times (6X) greater in 'pushing' force than your 12V car battery's approximately normal (when fully and properly charged) level of 13.2V...??? The 1st demo was using 9V to force a reverse charging current into a 1.5V non-rechargeable battery...!!!
A power source (like his demo's 9V power pack) is only designed to safely deliver a limited amount current flow to a properly matched *device's needs. (The *device's pathway(s) and circuitry have resistance, and that resistance opposes a voltage's pushing force to limit current flow to what is normal and safe for that specific device's normal needs.)
His 9V power pack, being designed to only safely deliver a small current flow ( usually noted in mA or milliamps on the power pack info label), would not maintain the stated 9V level when attempting this improper method to recharge a non-rechargeable battery (or even a rechargeable battery) without the risk of overheating the power pack, or the battery, or BOTH.
Safety should be first. A wise 'inventor' should seek to know and help others safely implement the use of the proper knowledge of electrical circuit theory and safety practices.
Play safe... Learn solid basics about electrical and electronics theory, and encourage others to do likewise. Casual experimenting without readily and freely available knowledge may result in unexpected, possibly even tragic, unforeseen results.
But, hey... I do hope you believe in the right choice to the afterlife. Everyone should consider that, FIRST and FOREMOST, until they KNOW they're on the ONLY RIGHT PATH.

This guy should be arrested.......the old battery goes out of shot....he swaps it for a new one....when he tests the "old" battery is reads zero, that's because he does not touch the positive terminal with the leads...all this in a few seconds of "conditioning" even a rechargeable battery takes several hours.....You sir are a charlatan and a scoundrel.
