This little $15 dollar game gave me more fulfillment than a good portion of games I've played in the last couple years... and I've never played a Far Cry game before.

Same mechanism, gameplay (liberateling outposts), and less cool villains. I just love far cry 3, no one could replace Vaas, he is insane as fuck, like Joker in far cry.

This game is a tight little package! It's not a grand epoch you have to play 100+ hours to complete(i.e. not boring you to death) AND you get more than your moneys' worth with this soundtrack alone! A perfect deal for the price point it was given!

Until my dad bought me a new XBOX 360. I was scrolling through all the amazing games my new XBOX had and i saw it…FAR CRY 3! I gasped in shock because I’ve been hearing on how amazing the game is. Once i went into the game, i saw the graphics and I literally said: “holy SH*T!!!” The robotic arm, the music, the CYBER EYE. AND I MEAN THEY EVEN ADDED ENTIRE DESCRIPTIONS FOR THE ANIMALS IN THE GAME! DUDE AND THE CYBER PANTHER!? Truly amazing game…like im not even joking if you dont have it get it!

SandOprods Not the entire game- the designs for character and weapons skins; the design teams were given a low budget to design it and it was then supported by Ubisoft financially. Apologies for any misinterpretation. (blog.ubi.com/far-cry-3-blood-dragon-design-secrets/)= my source...
SandOprods It could have been done perfectly with that money. The Far Cry 3 engine was already designed, they just had to repaint things. Still uses the budget better than most "Triple A" titles out there.
Far Cry 3 runs on the Dunia engine, essentially a reworked version of CryEngine since Ubisoft didn't get the rights to it when they made FC2. From a technical perspective it is still good looking, but yeah its not nearly as taxing on hardware as the Metro games. Blood Dragon is more a testament to a unique and colourful visual style making it easy to completely ignore graphical imperfections that are associated with games trying to be as realistic as possible.
