Yeah you're right it's the same sorta style but different notes. I do still like it tho it kinda has a more futuristic sound like a Blade Runner/Mr Robot twist to it
This score made the scene extra unsettling. The whole series of beach scenes felt slightly off as it was and this just helped push it that extra bit further
So glad to see this comment here, I got the exact same feeling. It felt like the storming of the sacred Garden of Eden with big guns and scanning equipment. Something twisted, oppressive, and perverse about it.
The first part of this episode got me so immersed into the scenes God it was too good man. Brilliant show. First 2 seasons and it grabs my attention more than Game of thrones did. And that's a fact ladies and gentlemen.
Game of Thrones had everything Hollywood could bring to the table: writing, acting, directing, videography, it was great. But I think it was missing the most important piece, an overriding sense of purpose and direction and, in a way, heart (Human dignity? Purpose?...?) . In Westworld that piece, for me, almost always gets top-billing.
That scene with that epic music reminded me DUNKIRK, also with these marines on the beach... ♥ Brothers Nolans, what else can we say? They are the best.
Man I got chills when this score started playing, we see futuristic military setting up camp on Westworld's shore, this isn't just the wild west anymore. This is a theme park, and the robots have massacred the guests, AI has finally begun to fight back, and humans are scrambling hopelessly to contain it
This was just a simple, slow and pretty basic/standard beach scene, but this track made that scene epic. If you watch this scene without audio... you'll see what I mean. The track just sets the mood so perfectly.
Sorry for the lame question, but really, the 0:56 to 1:50 mark is the part of the soundtrack that really got me searching on TH-cam for more. Are there any elongated versions of this out there on the interwebs? I'd appreciate a link. I thought that particular portion of the track lasted longer on the show but perhaps it was just so damned dramatic that it felt like ages. Powerful stuff!! =]
Well my friends from West World (Now that the season ends I'd like to thank you all) This music was the new beginning of a new journey. *Journey Into Night* _Thank you @Game of Tens by excerpts of soundtrack_ Sound similar. [Durkink _by Hans Zimmer_ ] Look for Camera Obscura Soundtrack there's some quality synthesizer.
Don't know what was more eerie, the dead hosts across the ocean or the music. Anyways, something about the scene was eerie as fuck, but it was a good scene, so I'll be watching it again lol Ps: also, you can easily tell the difference between what scene shows the humans and what scenes show the robots as the Delos place looks hi tech while where the robots live is all old and cowboy hilly type shit. You can also tell the difference because of the music, the music always changes. For example, when the humans appear, the music sounds kinda scary, futuristic even, but when robots are doing what they're doing, the music becomes less futuristic and more classical? 🤔😕
vpbc123 from what I have seen, I completely agree with you 100%. You would think that the humans would have emotions and not the robots, but to me, it seems as though the robots have more emotions than the humans, which is sad really 😕👍
The 0:59 second mark really sets the tone for The Delos Operation, cold ruthless and efficient
Omar Dimelo Looping Bernard to get info
Its nice to see a show that realizes the importance of music. You can have a great show or movie but without a decent soundtrack it feels lacking.
Can't help but be reminded of Sicario's 'The Beast', 😍
My first thought. Im glad they are using darker soundtracks
Yeah you're right it's the same sorta style but different notes. I do still like it tho it kinda has a more futuristic sound like a Blade Runner/Mr Robot twist to it
and Logan's Grim Reavers
Even Durkink has something this something new
Same here. I loved Sicario's OST, really gave life to the movie as does Djawadi in all his projects.

So dark and angry. Epic atmosphere on the beach I got goosebumps . Ramin is the man!
"Things have gone terribly wrong" soundtrack
I have had this looped for 3 hours and didnt even realize. Its such a badass piece to just have playing in the background.
Reminds me of the soundtrack music in many of Dennis vileneuves’ works. Sicario to name one.
yes!! blade runner 2049 too

The whole beach portion of episode 1 felt unsettling and surreal, dream like.
0:56 Now that is Hans Zimmer's No. 1 student!
That scene with that epic music reminded me DUNKIRK, also with these marines on the beach... ♥ Brothers Nolans, what else can we say? They are the best.
Thank you damn thought I would have to wait forever just to hear/find this!!!
Just sets the mood right! Season 2 is gonna get much more dark
exactly the one i was looking for, thanks
Searched for Westworld 2 'Beach scene' music... found it. Perfect.
Incredible piece...
Thank you for this! Great track, so creepy and atmospheric.
The actual scene itself reminded me of the beach landing in apocalypse now.
reminds me of Dunkirk

so epic

Sound similar. [Durkink _by Hans Zimmer_ ]
Look for Camera Obscura Soundtrack there's some quality synthesizer.
soundracks of season 2 are so gloomy compared to season 1
Sea Smurf there's literally only one episode out of season 2.
season one was blissful ignorance, season two is when reality sets in
anyone know how to get an mp3 version of this?
speed it up... starts to sound like something else
Ots not on the soundtrack... Or is it only woth different title?
This really gives me Chris Nolan vibes. Probably because this track is kinda similar to some tracks from Dunkirk.
The vehicles look very much like they're from Dark Knight or something too. Cinematography is very similar also.
why tf the soundtrack not come out half as full
Reminds me Dunkirk... the beach doesn't help, eheh
About the best part of Season 2 :(
reminds me of zack hamsey - the way
I dreamt I was on an ocean, with you and the others on a distant shore. ..
0:50
It's possible that this song belongs also to another soundtrack?
it's ramin's soundtrack. But it really looks like Dunkirk Soundtrack
Ramin Djawadi had to have copied Sicario's 'The Beast for this. Different but so similar.

The humans are more machine than the machines.
